Is Whiterun ever going to be repaired?

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 10:04 am

I have completed the civil war quest, and I sided with the Imperials. At some point about halfway through, Whiterun comes under siege. I was defending it.

The town seems to take some damage during that siege, but I figured it would eventually repair itself/go away. It never did. Was it supposed to, or is the atrium in Whiterun going to be in shambles forever? We could name it "New Kvatch" maybe.

Welcome to tech support, where we try to fix issues and don't browse looking for gameplay discussions?

I am curious bout this as well, Varus. Though spoiler tags are nice, no offense not everyone has gotten as far or knows the game like some. :)

Idk, I kind of like having some of the world change based on the things that Ive done. Though it does seem kind of weird no ones bothered to make any repairs at all for so long, lol.

So its never repaired for my game either, cant tell if its a bug or not.

This is not a software or hardware issue and does not belong in this section.

There is a forum for game play involving spoilers and hints.

If Whiterun is intended to be repaired, and this wasn't happening, it would be a glitch. However I believe it is intentionally left with some permanent damage.

There's no way they're gonna repair Heimskr's house, it would just encourage him to stick around.

Most disappointing thing about that quest was that he didn't try and help the Stormcloaks he so loved. I would have loved to finally shut him up for good...and not feel like I was murdering him solely because he annoyed me. >.>;

Well I guess first most disappointing thing was that the general with the awesome Bearhat disappears stupidly soon after you kill him...no bear hat for me. :(
