This seems weird. I went to kill Glenmoril witches and then when I come back to Whiterun, guards attack me. I had no bounty but now I have an huge reward (a little more than 1000 gold). This happen near the observation tower at south-west of Whiterun (that where you fight against the first dragon).
Also if I say that I'm the thane of the jarl, they says that now is all ok, but after continues to attack me.
Any fix for this? I don't want to pay for a stupid bug. My game is updated to 1.4.27

Bounty's can be buggy sometimes, and you might be able to remove it via console.

player.setcrimegold XXX Set it high if you want to fight, set it at 0 if you want to be free. I've tried it, but then when I get out from Dragonsreach, seems that Blood and Honor quest for companions don't continue, maybe because the quest WANT that I have to enter in Whiterun from the gate.
Anyway, I don't want to pay for a bug.

The 100% disease resistance conferred by Lycanthropy's "beast blood" doesn't prevent you from catching Sanguine Vampiris, or any other disease for that matter, because disease resistance is affected by a cap, just like all other resistances. I'm a dumb ass! Guards attacked me because I kill some Thalmors before the click on "free the prisoner". So the prisoner has reported this to guards.

That's so lame, why does a prisoner report you for attacking his captors? Bounty system really got half assed imo.

Talk to the thalmor and they'll give you a good reason to fight them. And nobody will report this as a crime.
