Who Are You?

What kind of character do you play as? What skills do you train in? What weapons/spells do you use and what do you wear? Where do you spend most of your time and what do you do there?

Is your Skyrim ruled by the Empire, or by the Stormcloaks? Do you prefer the Paarthurnax/Greybeards or the Blades? What Guilds/Factions are you a part of?

I roleplay so it is not what I prefer, it is what my characters prefer.

My first character was a Nord 2-Hand, Light Armor Warrior. She joined the Companions and sided with the Stormcloaks. She let Parthy live.
My current character is a Dual-Wield, Light Armor Thief/Assassin. She sides with anybody. She has joined the Thieves Guild and recently stumbled by accident into the Dark Brotherhood, which she may join. She will not touch the main quest.

I've got three main characters. The first, Era, is a lightly armoured one-handed Imperial with an investment in restorative magic. She's got her fingers in many pies, so to speak - the College, DB, Thieves Guild, the Companions. She can just as easily play tag with the kids in Solitude as she can feast on human flesh in Namira's name. She's not so much immoral as she is amoral, too curious about what Nirn has to offer to care about things as petty as ethics. She fought for the Stormcloaks, not out of any deep-seated convictions but out of an interest in a certain charismatic man with an ability like hers. The Blades irritate her; Paarthurnax fascinates her.
My second, Anja, is a simple Nord huntress. She tends to stay where the grass is green and the game is plentiful, Whiterun's plains being her preferred hunting ground. She's distrustful of magic and alchemy and uncomfortable wielding anything but a bow and arrow, but she's a darn good smith. She considered joining the Imperial army, but backed out when she was asked to wipe out a bandit camp on her own. She has a policy of not attacking humanoids unless they attack her first. As for her destiny as the Dragonborn, she hasn't yet become aware of it and likely never will.
My third's a Dunmer mage by the name of Giruvi. She's heavy on destruction magic and conjuration and has an obsession with repairing the White Phial of legend. She came to Skyrim initially to study the alchemical properties of its flora, but soon joined the College and is beginning to develop a rather unhealthy interest in necromancy. She felt slighted by the insinuation of Whiterun's court wizard that she was dull, so she has yet to even so much as go searching for the Dragonstone. As for the DB, she hates being backed into a corner and detests being forced to kill someone while in that corner even more, so she resolved that whole situation with a gout of fire to Astrid's pretty face. The rest of the DB will probably suffer the same fate. She really dislikes being told what to do.

Bulvai was my first character; captured while coming back home to his place of birth. Furious about his execution for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, he joined the stormcloaks to take his revenge.

How did she stumble accidently into the Dark Brotherhood? You can let me in on the details personally to cause spoilers but I am curious.
EDIT: but if she isn't in there yet then...

What is your mindset on the creation of a female character? I have never played as a female in any game that I can recall, actually Silent Hill 2 if I remember correctly, I can't fathom playing one, I'M not sixist.

Also very interesting characters.

My new character i'll be starting tonight is a warrior mage mix with a little cleric to heal others.
Trains in one handed weapons, heavy armor, likes to use ancient nord weapons including battle axes. For magic he specialises in destruction, conjuration, healing while dabbling a little in the other magical arts.
Most of the time am out exploring on some cold snowy wind swept mountain searching for isolated unknown crypts and dungeons. Once discovered i'll destroy anything evil within which may be a threat to innocent travelers and search for valuable treasure to keep and use or sell.
I really havent decided which side to take in the war yet. They all seem to be fighting for a good cause with the Thalmor being the outsider taking advantage of a house in disorder.
Have yet to meet the Paarthurnax/Greybeards or the Blades so cant answer that. As for Guilds and Factions am a solitary man so none thus far. Of course The Dark Brotherhood looks to be a high point of interest to investigate in the future.

I'm currently playing Jerian Vautrine - a Breton mage, with a focus on conjuration and destruction. He's a loyal citizen of the Empire, and is proud to have played a part in crushing the Stormcloak Rebellion. While he misses his native High Rock, he has grown to love Solitude - the people, the architecture, the city itself.

He's currently an Apprentice of the Collge of Winterhold (he was about to head into a fort to retrieve some books about what they found in Saarthal, but ran away after nearly being killed ...) and Thane of Whiterun - he's currently within Ustengrav, looking for the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller and learn more about the dragons. He's not sure of his opinion on the Greybeards - they didn't seem to mind about the Civil War, not to mention the Great War. And as far as he knows, the Blades have been destroyed.

He's an immensely fun character to play - very different to the archers and warriors I've played in the past!

What I meant to say was..I have a level 42 Nord named Avitus, ("ancestral" in latin) after the first Nord I made in Oblivion. one handed, block, heavy armor, smithing, archery and dabbles in destruction magic. I'm currently playing a level 12 Breton named Ashur, named after me ashing my stogie whilst creating said character who specializes in light armor, dual sword/dagger, sneak, archery, and conjuration.

Argonian Light Warrior/Scout: Light armor, 1h axe, shield, basic sneaking, bow, alch (with poison skill), smithing; basic restoration for the fast-healing reptiles feel. Free-roaming adventurer; will do companions up to skyforge weaps, but won't become werewolf (silly if being a reptile); has no problem with becoming a thief or assasin. No main quest... I think atm.

Wandering Priest: restoration with hunting down undead-skills, alteration, fire destruction, no armor, college quest and free exploring of tombs, enchantment; good at talking (up to persuating); he will join the main quest since those are actually undead dragons!!!

Conan-Barbarian: looks like the Arnold Conan; light armor, wields ancient nord 2h sword (pretend it to be its Atlantian sword), wears most of the time shirt-less fur body armor, master smith, very basic bow and sneak, no magic; able to intimidate people and is good with the women; does nearly all quest, except college I think.

1. archer
2. archer
3. archer
4. archer

All of these archers only completed one faction. So its the DB/thieves/mage/companion

then
5. 1 handed + shield for the main quest
6. Pure mage as exploration. Destruction, alteration etc
i gave up 2 handed because its slow. And daggers dont excite me. Archers yay
For number 6, i use the mod 'alternate start' which enables you to start the game as different characters(e.g.vampire/bandit). I will use this mod for all my other playthroughs in future, if i decide to continue skyrim.
And it prolly will be an archer.

I'm playing a Khajiit at the moment using only the skills from the thief constellations. It's definitely a challenge as the levels start to advance, but a lot of fun also.

1. An evil Warrior named Jesus, kind of contradictory now that I think of it, but anyways, he was good in one handed and heavy armor, he tried destruction and restoration but found them to be slow and weak so he just went on his way cutting off people's heads with the decapitation perk
2. Argonian Archer named Reptar, he was very strong and my favorite character so far, I've done all the guild quests and te main questline with him, he's lvl 45 now and currently working on getting all the dragon masks and visiting daedric shrines, he is also having a tough time looking for a deent follower that doesn't get him noticed every 3 seconds since he has a very high sneak and likes to sneak alot.
3. The character I'm currently on, an Orc named Hate who is basically a dual-wielding badass, I took an idea from someone else that posted in my thread, he just adventures Skyrim and doesn't enter any holds, he only buys and sells at Orc Stronghold and Khajiit campers, lately he has been taking out alot of the Forsworn around the Reach even though he has no desire for the silver around there.
4, My next character was already created but not really started, a Dark Elf name Fear. He is going to be a vampire who makes use of the Necromage restoration perk, I don't really plan on doing any main quests with him, Idc for the shouts all that much, the only one I liked was aura whisper and elemental fury but there is a spell that does close enough to the same thing and he won't be using weapons. I plan on him being a strong ice mage who often uses illusion spells to conceal his identity and get the blood he needs quickly and quitely

Niamh basically doesn't give a [censored] who runs the place.
She doesn't want to save anyone or anything except for herself, or unless there's something in it for her. She's not interested in being anyone's hero. She doesn't know why she's back in Skyrim and she just wants to get back to Cyrodiil.
She's done some quests but not out of any sense of altruism, more for the money and the thrills - marking time whilst she figures out what to do next. The record she keeps involves both imperials, stormcloaks and pretty much anyone else who gets in her way.
The only "person" she feels even any vague sense of loyalty for is Azura because Azura was nice to her once, long ago it seems, in Morrowind.
She has plenty of gold but nothing she wants to buy, she sleeps where she can and she eats what she can find. She has no companions, or associates and neither does she want them, the few intimate encounters she has had have not ended well and only served to further her believe that most of the rest of Nirn are hateful and spiteful and only in it for themselves - (it's a double standard, but it's her double standard) - there's only one person she's ever felt affection for but that person is a long way away, further even than Niamh realises...
She's a raging ball of hate and spite with enough anger to fuel a small dwemer colony, she'd knife you in the face as soon as look you and it's only because she has at least some self-control that she even manages to deal with merchants.
She's pretty much unable to go anywhere near Whiterun or it's environs and she's already had more than her share of unwelcome attention from Riften's guards.
She's a nasty, twisted Bosmer with huge issues and a massive sense of loss, and pain, and hurt.
Mostly she just wants to be left alone.

Armour/Clothing: currently her own skin, occasionally Forsworn
Weaponry: Bow, Axe
Magic: Preference for destruction spells, mostly fire
Factions: None

What kind of character do you play as? What skills do you train in? What weapons/spells do you use and what do you wear? Where do you spend most of your time and what do you do there?

http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/505766656299100703/6BE6F7735A60409072C8184D55A28DCF4BD7B730/ is a spellsword with a surprising talent for sneaking and picking locks. Basically if she can't take down an enemy with just a spell or two, she's more than happy to finish them off with her enchanted ebony axe, Ebonflame. Or Dawnbreaker, if you happen to be a draugr.

Her best skills currently are in sneak, one-handed weaponry, destruction and alchemy. She has a flair for restoration too though...mostly from having to wade into a fight and get her constant companion, Erik the Slayer, back up on his feet. As for equipment...when just spending time in a city or village, regular clothes will do. Otherwise, she's never without her specially crafted http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=7184.

Is your Skyrim ruled by the Empire, or by the Stormcloaks? Do you prefer the Paarthurnax/Greybeards or the Blades? What Guilds/Factions are you a part of?

The Civil War's still ongoing, since Eira thinks both sides have their strengths and weaknesses and thinks for the moment that, being Dragonborn, it might be best that she stay as a neutral party. She is beginning to lean Stormcloak, although the way Ulfric treats the Dunmer in Windhelm bothers her a great deal. Any Thalmor she finds on the road are fair game though. Mostly because http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/631857853201396591/64D7DFA267B8C2AF0E2CE759CA4E1AA94E3B1E29/, but also because she leans towards Talos worship. So does her companion Erik.*

No judgment yet on Blades vs. Greybeards, either, although Eira's very much leaning Greybeards/Paarthurnax. She just met Paarthurnax for the first time a few days ago, and proceeded to spend the better part of a night discussing philosophy and history with him. Most fun she's had in ages. The Blades have...not been quite so helpful or as kind (though she is fond of Esbern).

As for other factions: none at the moment. Eira wanders where she will and usually goes wherever someone's requested her aid. That hasn't left much time for factions or guilds. She plans to join the College of Winterhold eventually, and recently became an official member of the Bards' College.

The Dark Brotherhood offered to let her join once but were promptly (and very strongly) rebuffed. Though she has the talent to join the Thieves' Guild she doesn't have the inclination...yet. Not for a lack of trying on Brynjolf's part, of course. He might just wear her down one of these days. We'll see.

*
Spoiler
I'm pretty sure Erik the Slayer is meant to be a Talos worshipper and possibly a Stormcloak sympathizer. Whenever we stumble on a spectacular sight in a dungeon he'll bust out with, "By the Nine!" as opposed to "By the Eight." Plus I've caught him running at bandits screaming "Skyrim belongs to the Nords!" more than once, and he's always asking Eira if she thinks Tiber Septim ever fought at many of the ruined forts they pass by.
