Who else played Bulletstorm?

I bought Bulletstorm when it was brand new. I love this game, it is very good. However none of my friends would even watch me play it let alone give it a chance. Most of them where kind of like "its just a Gears clone" and it isn't it is so much more. Now I hear that Bulletstorm 2 was officially cancelled as of last month. This not only saddens me but it down right pisses me off. This game was great, it had a great story and the biggest cliff hanger I have ever seen in any video game that I have ever played. How can you just leave it like that? I just don't get how such a great game sold so poorly. Why where people not interested in it? Hell R Lee Ermey was a main character in the game. Who else played and loved this game? Who else wants a sequel?

Epic brass claims it is due to piracy but everyone knows it is only because it didn't do stellar on sales. Proving they only care about the money, it is such a shame when a company doesn't care about it's fans.

I didn't know much about the game, nor did I expect much either (thought it was just another stupid dudebro game), but bought it anyway when it was on a Steam sale about a month ago. And it surprised me, big time, I found the game to be extremely fun to play and is now easily among my favorite shooters since 2005 or so

The others would be the original FEAR and Bioshock. And I do look forward to fully play Binary Domain soon too, especially now as a patch been released to fix various PC port niggles.

Bought the game back in October for about 20 bucks and loved it. I really liked the whole scoring aspect of the game, and the gameplay was really fun as well.

Sad to hear that the sequel was cancelled, but I didn't expect it to make it. I knew that the sales were bad.

It happens all the time. I haven't played Bulletstorm so I can't comment on its quality, but plenty of highly-rated games have been financial flops. While I didn't play it, I don't recall seeing much advertising either; I remember seeing it at E3, I think, and then nobody mentioned it again.

I do not know why the game was bashed so much. I really enjoyed it and was not what I expected. Very good game I thought and the things characters said was some what funny heh.

The only thing that comes to mind when Bulletstorm is mention is Graphics? Nope they are not excellent decent for DX9.

Piracy is irrelevant at leas to the scale Mike Capps is talking out of his ass when he did blame piracy that PC didn't sell well. Many reasons why it didn't sell on PC well mostly its a bad port with many issues.

A few issues why I personally did not buy it is because no demo for PC but 360/PS3. Then response of Cliff B himself in the same statement that 360/PS3 demo release date.

Cliiffy B tags PC gamers “grumpy” for not getting Bulletstorm Demo

6 Hours long game for $60 with a very poor MP not worth it. COD has better value (still not worth $60 IMO)
