I just got death thrall but I don't have enough magica to cast it just yet, but I'm curious to see who you have all used it on! I wanted Ulfric Stormcloak but I stripped him and now his naked body is somewhere in his castle thing. Maybe his bodyguard dude? I haven't stripped him yet.
On another note, who has raised a Spriggan? I like them soo much. I wish we could conjure them..

You should dead thrall some little old lady. Grelod the Kind, perhaps? Or that weir old lady from the alchemist's shop in Markarth.

I killed her in one punch, I would NOT want her as a follower. Haha.

Speaking of old ladies, do you know Anise? That old lady in the shack? Well I was there and a wolf attacked and killed her! It was so sad! Maybe I should death thrall her..

I Dead Thralled a Dunmer "Movarth Piquine". Pretty bad ass having a fire resistant Master Vampire follower.

I like generic dead thralls there usually the best you can get lvl 40+ my bandit cheif thrall has 120% one handed damage and a bunch of health and magic resist thralls and I think I might trade my master necromancer thrall for a bandit maruader Mage thrall because they use incinerate do more damage and have enchantable armor

but bandit cheif FTW he is able to one hit most mobs and go toe to toe with dragur scourges and deathlords

I was thinking maybe the two best enemies to revive, with Death Thrall, would be a Thalmor and a Necromancer. Certain Thalmors have good spells to cast and Necromacers have the ability to revive too, therefore making you party much bigger. But I haven't tried reviving any of these enemies so I don't know if it'll work as I said.

My favourite is a Forsworn Briarheart. Those guys are lethal. Of course, I did turn Mercer Frey into a thrall.. he lasted until we exited the, um, dungeon/cave, whatever. So I stick with the Briarhearts... did I say how awesome they are?
