Who knew?

The forsworn are by and far the most powerful enemies in the game. Or at least on one of my files. Not the dragons or the dragon priests or the trolls. The forsworn. Im lvl 59 wearing legendary light armor which i cant discuss bc its from dawnguard but besides that i also duel cast ebonyflesh in preparation for a battle i knew would be tough bc the same forsworn killed me 5 minutes earlier with 3 consecutive power attacks. So i march into what would end up being a futile attempt on my part. Get in a couple swings and bam. TWO power swings later im on the ground and shes walking away asking how some ones day is. (literally. For some reason the npcs just go about their business like nothing happened right after killing some one like its a normal event which also leads me to wonder why kill me if your just gonna walk away like nothing happened.) My point is for whatever reason the forsworn are my nemesis on this file. On my other character...bears as embarrassing as that is. Does anybody else have trouble with a certain enemy type?

I remember one time I picked a fight with guards and when I died they just stood over my corpse and said "Hey, I know you." Oh really, then why did you kill me?

But OT, I started a new character the other day and was only level five when I was going to Riften on foot. I ended up being chased by a bear all the way from the alchemist's shack to the Riften gates because my spells just didnt do enough damage and the bear took out half my health in one bite.

For me it is Frost Mages. I just found this out last night. At the risk of publicly embarrassing myself, I will admit that Cicero and I both got our back ends handed to us by a Master Conjurer and a Novice Frost Mage. The conjurer went down long before the novice frost mage did.

I was completely unprepared for it too. I had thought we could just waltz into their fort and loot the place easily, but ended up reloading twice before finally defeating them both (barely). All my health potions are gone now. I think Cicero still has some frost burns too..

The 2 times I've been unexpectedly killed in the game were first to a Volkihar Vampire wandering around in the wilderness. She had also just killed 2 Vigilants of Stendarr before taking me on. Second was a forsworn Briarheart who ran up to me and went into a kill cam which left me with a stupid wtf? expression on my face.

Rather than become a Briarheart which would mean having my heart ripped out and replaced with a pomegranate thing, and having to wear derelict bits of the Beyond Thunderdome wardrobe, I chose to go with becoming a Vampire. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
