Who's playing hardcoe in 1st playthrough? : Fallout: New Vegas

Simple question. Who's gonna play in hardcoe mode. I certainly am. To me as fun as Fallout 3 was it got a little easy towards the end even if I played on Very hard(But that was really just a waste of ammo) I'll make a strong character and maybe use energy weapons because the same ammo works in a lot of different weapons. How will you start playing?
