Who's porting their FO3 Mods to FO:NV?

Destructible bottles will be the first thing I check on.

How about you? What mod that you've done will you be porting over?

Well I don't mod (tweak stuff I download or the odd simple thing in the CS), but I'm hoping a lot of modders do. MMM and DarNUI in particular with much haste would be rad.

However, I had a thought regarding mods. We know that Beth is hell on using assets from one game in another (as in it's strictly verboten, even with permission from another game afaik), so hopefully the assets from FO3 are left in the GECK even if they aren't used, otherwise, many mods are going to be completely fubar.

But then I guess they wouldn't be, unless the texture and mesh files were left in the .bsa's, which seems unlikely if they aren't used. Huh. Unless they ease up on the restrictions, this could put a serious dent in some areas of the mod scene.

Unless of course they are there, in which case all is well.

Does anyone know anything solid on this?

Unfortunately I only have Fallout 3 for console. Maybe I'll get New Vegas on the PC.

I plan to... But I might just do them over from scratch if it seems the better choice.

It is not allowed by Bethesda to use assets from one game in another. Thus we don't discuss it here.
