1000 gp is a little steep for a shave. I had hoped their would be an option for this in Hearthfire.

Agreed. I 'grew' my Nord's moustache bigger, and it cost me a grand.

It would also be nice if they could enable a feature to let us give our companions/housecarls the facial treatment as well...I'd like to be able to improve on the looks of a couple of them, without having to do the mod thing (and it would be great for the console players).
