If they own a shop you can take a cut of the money daily. When I married Aela on my first character she would give me 500 gold every day, providing I asked for it.

Any npcs with house, and at least 3/4 containers in that house, that way you dont have to buy a house ever. In my opinion ysolda is the best npc for this, its rly easy to marry her, and she has a house in whiterun, with enchanting/lab table and blacksmith at a fast travel distance.

Aela because she is a good companion, is an archery trainer so you can train for free (buy the training, open inventory, take gold back), and she is one of the spouses who opens a store so you get free money as well. i think she has a house too.

Doesn't matter whom you marry! They will give you gold nonetheless.....If it only were so in real life.
