One day i was wondering around near bitter springs when i spotted this guy running at me called Mynameistooshort http://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr186/razer1978/ScreenShot3-1.jpg and he's been with me ever since, anyway i can't talk to him or kill him and when i tried it took ages even with my other 3 followers using AMR's with AP rounds, ED-E & 2 bots from the buildable bots mod and my gat laser with MC rounds, the main problem is he's stopping me recuting any more followers...... and he can't take the odd stray shot without kicking off

You could always buy four copies of the game. Nothing that prevented you from doing that.

While true, the chance of someone actually doing so is slim to none. You can however get 2 packs, as I got the caravan pack with my game and I didn't pre-order.

Slim to none? I bought all four myself. I am only using the Tribal pack right now. Wife is using the Classic pack. So, I guess I fall into the "Slim to None" category.

I pre-ordered my game at my local store and received all four pre-order packs. They gave out all four with every pre-order. Good thing too, I often use the Lightweight Metal Armor and Sturdy Caravan Shotgun.

Considering they were advertised as "exclusives" from particular retailers, sounds like some stores were breaking the rules.

That was a rarity. I had not heard of any places giving all 4. Again, falling into the slim.

Obviously. I live in the Netherlands and this store chain pretty much dominates the games market here, so I guess they bought the right to give out all four. I think there's more game-selling competition in the States.

Or they just didn't care about the rules. I've got a friend who works at Gamestop who hands out exclusive stuff all the time.

This. I got all 4 myself from a friend (i know its not technically legal but its better than just downloading it off the internet like a lot of people do) but the things I care about the most are the Weathered 10mm Pistol and the Lightweight Metal Armor. I use those in every playthrough for a longgggg time. (I still use a Modded Weathered 10mm its awesome but you have to get the mod that fixes it first)

Meh, the caravan pack (Which is what I've got) is just turned into caps immediately, well the shotgun is fairly usefull, but I always go with modded armor and looks over DT. It's a bit annoying actually as the GECK insists on having it enabled whenever it starts up.

I think I saw a flyer of the Bart Smit claiming that. Or Intertoys.

Delete the "CaravanPack.nam" file and it will stop auto-loading the DLC content in the game and in the GECK. That file seems to have no purpose except to force the content to load.

How can you fix something by changing how it works beyond what was intended? The pistol is a unique, and no unique in the game allows for mods, so the fact that you could put a mod on the pistol was the problem, not the lack of models.
