I'll shoot NCR members and probably fill Fantastic with lead, too.

My character isn't going to the kinda psycho who slaughters anything with two legs, but he probably will be somewhat frowned upon by joining the Legion. Oh, that's a point: I'll probably be killing those who Vulpes Inculta wishes dead.

I always found that to be intresting but to really play a guy like that you have to sell the Insanity someone who Kills ALL the time is very easy to Predict. i say liven it up save a family of 5 then only kill the people in the family that names begin with the letter T

Hmm, that would just make my character seem like he's got some strange mental problems. He doesn't, so it wouldn't be fitting.

But who knows? Maybe he'll change over the course of the game -- I can't predit too much yet.

I always Enjoy Playing Serial Killers If your going to play a person that kills Frequently its fun to play of course not all Serial killers are insane some of them are Highly intelligent its why its fun to play them make it so you install deadlines you need to kill every 1-10 days (in game of course) establish a certain way you kill them C4,Knife,Etc

I suggest ways to get other NPCs to fight eachother, much more fun to watch (pulls puppet strings).

Also a Crime boss would always be fun to play, if anyone gives you any lip you kill them, any insult you must kill them, if you don't people will think your weak.
(well thats the mindset of one of my characters I will play with)

I'll be shooting down Caesars Legion members. I hate those slavers. F3 was an exception, since apparently they werent going to get in your way, so I just do mutual trading. If it works this way on here too, it'll be business with salvage as usual. If they are my foe, so be it.

Well it depends on the role i take.
In the first I'm joining the legion and if they want someone dead I'm not going to go against their wishes.

But I'll probably play around with different roles.
Depending on how NPC's or factions react to the actions i perform y'know.
So one playthrough I will take on the role of an anarchist.
I don't want to kill every single person, I just want to create chaos, killing all leaders of all factions and causing disarray.
Then I'll probably do a guy who's good at heart but he has a case of serial killer going on.
So that character will kill stuff in a pattern, maybe a signature weapon or ritual I'll perform.
And he won't kill people just cause he wants to kill them, no not at all.
He just has his own perspective on it, he will appoint himself as a judge jury and executioner.
But he is a bit excessive, and if he hasn't killed anyone in a long time then a small thing as someone talking down to him will make him go killy killy.

But it depends on how other NPC's react to the whole thing and how the game is played out.
Kinda boring that I could silently murder Lucas Simms but noone seemed too sad about it in Megaton.

To build on your good guy serial killer, some of the crazier ones believe their doing Gods work, or doing it for mans salvation. Make up 'righteous justifications' for it?

Works well.
Can't wait to do some real roleplaying.
(Seems like you couldn't do any true roleplaying without mods for fallout 3.)

I usually don't shoot anyone without good reason, and my hit lists are usually pretty well thought out for maximum effect.
The only time I ever went on a killing spree was in Morrowind, just to see how it'd play out, killed everyone in the city of Suran, and afterwards thought to myself "...Well, that was completely pointless and unproductive." and reverted to a save.
Feeling still stands. I don't even go on killing spree's in GTA games anymore unless I'm playing "what would happen if...", but outside of that, I don't see the appeal of the act of mass slaughter.

Well it adds to replayability to try out a role you haven't tried before so when you've tried all you want to try you should give serial killer a chance. :)

Ah, one last one before the grind at work...
If I were to go the Serial Killer path, which is unlikely...That might require beer...I wouldn't go all out ape[censored] and start killing people. There's a method to the madness. Choosing a target, stalking them, finding the perfect time to strike. It's like hunting, but in human terms.
The New Vegas Slasher! He slashes one way! He slashes to the right! He slashes diagonal! He's like Connect Four in dagger terms!

Hard to day, part of me wants to say "anyone that pisses me off" but the other part says play a nutcase like I currently am in FO3 that steals and kills for no reason.

Character is basically a petty theif, murderer, and slaver all at once.

But it is hard to say how I would play considering theres not much known about the game for me to make that decision.

Motives are good, typically my motives of killing neutral NPC`s is always "resources". They are killed so I can loot their stuff for caps and if lucky get a key to their business to loot their business inventory. Not that I need to since I have three mods currently installed (one for lights throughout the wasteland, one for a underground personal vault in minefield, and one for a tranquility lane house with a huge underground vault like base) has alot of resources there. But I plan to follow through ever play through I do starts out evil then quickly turns into a good person then. Not to get too far off topic I guess it has to do with the fact that the main quest is only completed through mostly good actions, even the modified FEV virus shouldnt be used cause it will effect you as well since you werent born in the vault.

There are some motives that are done just because I hate the person. For instance tammy, that drunk on rivet city absolutely pisses me off with her attitude. So I slit her throat at night while her son slept 3 feet away, now everytime I ask him what happened to his family he tells me that "some [censored] like you killed them". Too bad I can kill him as well I would in a heart beat.
