I keep trying for the smooth angular look, but the damn elves just can't pull it off. It's all rough angles like it was hewn from rock! I keep going for the longer hairstyle and it none of the faces I make can match it.

They look a lot better than in previous games, I just can't stand how old they look :/ All those wrinkles. It would atleast be nice if there was a way to change the avatars look upon completetion of the tutorial. It's like a get a touch of aincent sorcerer in every one.

i actually managed to make a "decent" looking altmer chick, sure in the torchlight sometimes she still looks weird, but ehi it's an elf

Got a decent looking younger one. Just don't use any dirt or any of that and face paint is your friend. It covered up the wrinkles But yeah I like all the new looks but Altmer have suffered a little and look haggard. Must be all the stress from the great war.

I like the new look. I also like the fact that the elven races are more slanty eyed and have a more Mongoloid look to them

They're so arrogant it serves them right.

I managed to make a female Altmer yesterday I was pretty satisfied with. I remember the final touch that made her look more attractive, was shortening her chin to near human proportions.
