Title.

When I looked in my inventory today, I noticed that 3 quarters of my items were pitch black, sorta like a 3D shadow of the item. It doesn't change when I rotate them as well when looking at them, it's literally dark all over most of my items.

I also noticed that my equipped 2-Handed sword appeared darker (darker shade than normal, but not pitch black) on my character during actual gameplay, however, everything else on my character looked normal.

Am I the only one who's experiencing this?

are you using mods? can be some kind of conflict

no, I'm on console.

hmm usually it is because textures are missing, but since you are on the console I don't see that as an option, is it after you installed some new programs or drivers (never used consoles since playstation 1 so maybe I'm a bit off)

No and no, I've never done anything to my console in any way. I find it happening to characters as well, like for instance, when I'm just walking in 3rd person view, in broad daylight, the bottom parts of my character are darker than they're meant to be, as if they were in a cave or something.

Edit: I should mention this only started happening after patch 1.4. I seem to have issues with shading nowadays.

Bad save files are not "fixed" by 1.4 Try a new game.

This is a new game. I started it after patch 1.4. Ever since the patch, I've noticed a multitude of texture issues, such as the one with the bright blue enchanting tables and extremely bright weapons such as dawnbreaker, and finally this, the shading problem with objects and characters.

And no, it was never a bad save file, I only started to notice it 2 days ago (this save has been in existence for 6 days).

Edit: It seems reloading the save fixes this temporarily, however, it reappears after about 2 hours of gameplay. Very mysterious indeed.
