Why are there only a few possible colors in character creati

Honestly, I think they should have let us pick an exact color ("Paint" style custom colors) when determining character coloration. The fact that you can't go for a coloration that is between the preset colors is kind of absurd.

Do you think it might be in a possible future patch? Are you for or against this and why?

Thank you. That was the one thing Oblivion and Fallout had for it. This feels like a step back in terms of customization, imo. There is very little character control and all I am recycling through is presets. I want to be able to tweak this presets as I please. But not only that, but it be nice to get a in between color of a dark brown, but not light brown a variation of brown. I do not know why they took out the color features for Skyrim.

I, too, was a little disappointed at the limited color selection. I tried to recreate my dark red/black skinned http://i.imgur.com/ZVHoC.jpg in Skyrim but http://i.imgur.com/CDiB2h.jpg was as close as I could get. It also seems the customization options in general decreased.

I agree. At least for argonians. I miss my blue Argonian from Oblivion lol.

I imagine it was to avoid the unsightly neck seam that Oblivion was plagued with. Limiting skin tones to presets guarantees a face to body match.
