Why are they so quiet about RAGE ?

Post » Sun Nov 27, 2011 2:15 pm

Tim wilits was so present months and months before RAGE launch. Now , no news from him. Nothing about DLC.

What the hell is going on ?

Working hard... Talking now would mean they would have to answer many questions without anything to back them up with...Its a bit concerning I must admit since we are close to the busiest retail period of the year and I'm sure any DLC news would help sales. Would be shocked not to hear anything this coming week about rage DLC.

Doom 4 has been in development for a couple of years apparently, but they are keeping information on it top secret. Apparently Carmack said it will have an appearance at the next Quakecon though (2012). So that should be quite good, i'll have to look up news on it.

Have no idea about the DLC though, would be nice to know what is going on, as I'm desperatly awaiting some extra stuff. I just hope it's not overpriced... I found the $15.00AUS way too much for 4 maps with COD, and even a lot of the Fallout DLC was too expencsve for it's size, hopefully RAGE will have something a bit more substantial to offer.

Perhaps its a situation in which they have to sell 3 or 4 million copies before they consider a DLC....I don't think Rage has sold enough copies yet.

Just a shot in the dark. :whistling:

I don't. Not at all. They've been working on DLC since before the game was even released. They were just waiting to see how people took the game and awaited feedback (which unfortunately was delayed by the broken PC version because of drivers). They are working on it now. The game has been out a month and a half. Patience people. Go play Skyrim while you wait.

try years and years.
Maybe dude is on a vacation, recovering from endless jetlag and press conferences.. It's only been like a month and a half since the game dropped.
