why aren't there any books that increase guns? : Fallout: New Vegas

In fallout new vegas there are skill books that increase energy weapons but there aren't any that increase guns skill ?

There is. Called the Milsurp review. Cant remember where I found it. Only saw one in 25 hours of gameplay.

Guns and Bullets are in too. Can't recall how many there are, but I've found few.

There are four, exact same number as the rest (well, science technically has 5 and repair technically has 3). One shows up really early.

Ah there are books in new vegas, their called Guns and Bullets, no wonder i couldn't look them up in wiki lol.

So far I've found three copies of "Guns'n'Bullets" in the game. I think there is a fourth one out there.
