You mean like this? http://www.stepuptravel.org/images/featured/201011/maasai-warrior-shields.jpg i don't think it's very practical or deadly and it looks ridiculous
Wonder why Bob only open Threads full of complains. Why he don't just put ALL his complains into ONE thread? so we just need to ignore ONE thread and not 107 Threads. ^^

Would be stupid... but hilarious. Just because it's impractical, doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to do it! If you want to go around with 2 shields and get yourself nowhere, that's your choice lol.
After all, that's the philosophy of Skyrim, right? You choose who you wanna be. Well I wanna be a dual shielding turtle.
Because a bow is a 2-handed weapon. To dual-wield bows you would at least have to be like http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_RVLfSMIB7K0/SKQ2QUHuN0I/AAAAAAAAJrA/f-t8Yz-pzeU/s1600-h/001fourarms.jpg.

You don't need 4 hands.
You could use your tongue to pull back the arrows in both hands.
Why can't I dual wield chickens? Or one chicken for that matter? C'mon Bethesda, you're really dropping the ball. I really want to beat my enemy with a chicken, or even a goat leg.

Actually I remember a video where the developers were talking about different dual wield combos and I specificly remember them saying that you would be able to dual wield pretty much any one handed item you can think of INCLUDING dual wielding shields if you so wished.
