Why cant i play New Vegas? (Graphics problem)

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:21 pm

Hi.
I cant play this game even on the lowest graphics settings because of huge fps problems.. i know there are others with fps problems, but i cant even walk around in the house were the game starts because of this. Its like my computer dosnt even come close to meeting the min requirements. I knew i wouldnt be able to run it on high graphics settings, but after seeing the min requirements i figured i would at least be able to play on medium.. :/

Im running windows 7 64x on my acer 6930g. I have a intel core 2 duo T6400 (2 ghz, 2ghz), 4 GB ram and nvidia 9600m gt.

ive tried to update the Nvidia drivers and reinstalling directX ( i know directX would be an unlikely cause, but i figured it was worth a shot)..

does anybody know what the problem is?? i dont really care about playing with high graphics settings, i would just like to be able to play :P
