Why doesn't the Workshop accept ESM files ?

All is in the title.
By that decision, Bethesda and Steam have chosen to only diffuse small mods, no working dungeons and complex content...
Does the workshop will only offer weapon, armours and lolcontent ?

Because the workshop is really only good for 'my house mod' kinda stuff....the moment you require load order positions and .esm files you have to go to external hosting like Nexus or TES Alliance

Uploading to Nexus was already my choice, i'm there since my fist mod, but i think it is important that the users know that they only have a small part of the mod scene, using the Steam thing.

It might be a way to address load order-- if you have an ESM, then other DLC releases that are, naturally, .esm, you could override them since your date is earlier. Nevermind, realized as I wrote it: later, not earlier, takes precedence

In short: the only load order they're interested in is the ones that impact how they make money. In short: no goddamned clue.

I believe they acknowledged this as a bug, but don't quote me on that.
