[Dragons] Why do i get to only encounter the classic grey dr

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 6:27 am

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has ever had a random encounter with a white, or even a bronze dragon, like the one we can see on loading screens. I only came across an ice dragon once, beside the one that you met in the forsworn camp from the main quest.
Don't tell me about blood/ancient/elder dragon, that's not the topic, and it doesn't seems to have any problem to meet them.

Thx you two, but I was talking about "random" encounter, as oposed to scripted main quest encounters...

Are "colored" dragons only to be met during the main quest?

Their color changes when you level up. Grey ones are the weakest, green ones medium, and finally the elder and ancient dragons are orange.

So, color is related to the elderness of a dragon?

I thought types and age of dragons where separate mecanism... but what about ice dragons?

That's what the game says. It's a bit of a logical error in my opinion though, since all dragons are immortal.

My character(s) is/are level 52 and now I most commonly see those bronze-colored dragons that are the strongest.

And yes, their color determines their age or strength.

Ok, i get it. i've met elder dragons too, and noticed their different color, but i still thought that there were also different species of dragons, only because of ice dragons.

Also, I was over on the modder forum and there is a mod bringing in 50!! different dragons with different colors as well as types and ages. For example there was a swamp dragon that sprays acid.....

I am at work so I cannot get the link posted. Maybe someone else can or you can go over to the Nexus....cheers!
