Hey everyone,

Im new to inputting mods. I was following a tutorial on youtube on how to get NPCs into the game. I put an argonian in with daedric armor and the voice of a child. I go in, and there he is, where i put him in the bar in dragons bridge. I decided to make another NPC to add to the game. I tried making one that looked like me so it would be kind of funny. The tut on utube i used was very basic, so i decided to try more. I played with the face, the skin color, the NPC's spells, etc. I placed him in the bannered mare with a voice of a guard (i wanted to hear him say i took an arrow to the knee.) I saved, booted up skyrim, made sure it was checked off in my data folder, it was. I start playing, fast travel to Whiterun, go into the Bannered Mare.... No NPC. I exited, saved in the CK again, closed it, booted up Skyrim once more, not there. Is anyone else having this problem? Im new to this, i dont know if i messed anything up. Im getting a bit of lag in the Mare now, but the NPC is still not there. All the original ones are, nothing has changed. My NPC was equipped with the blizzard spell, brave attitude, and non hostile.

Try this.

Go back into the CK. Make sure that you did not place him with his feet through the floor. If you did, it may be causing him to fall through the floor into the void when the cell loads into the game.

Before launching your save game, turn your mod off to remove any references that might persist.

Load your save game to make the load without your mod take hold

Exit the game. Reselect your mod and run again.

I cannot guarantee this will solve your problem, as it is not one I have personally experienced. But if it is a clipping issue, this is what I would do to try to correct it.
