not sure if it belongs to the general, spoiler or hardware section, but pretty much should be posted here after some thoughts.
Anyway, i noticed that my quiver/bow/2 handed eq are floating above my character when in side view. Why is that so? I have no idea x.x
mods used: CBBE v2, some skeleton mod, some standalone armor mod and also replacers.

That would be bethesda being lazy but thats in most games the best way to get rid of it is wearing thick armor such as a certian armor that you get at the end of the thieves guild and daedric armor makes it work to same with ebony.

The modelers need to position items around the skeleton at a distance that ensures that the items do not clip through any clothes or armor the player might equip. Position an item too close, it clips through armor; position the item too far, it appears to float. This happens in every game. Some games solve this by making all apparel the same thickness. The downside to this is that it severaly limits how clothing and armor looks. If you go in the other direction and give clothing and armor different thicknesses you are going to have to position items so that they do not clip when a player wears the thickest apparel in the game. It's one or the other. Take your pick.

If it bothers you enough the best thing to do, as Mr Courier says, is to wear the thickest armor in the game.

The space is for air circulation. You're sweaty and smelly enough as it is.

Now what they need to fix are the daggers that are stuck in the thigh....

It's a little like those Bear pelts :P

I wanted to decorate my house with them, so i putted it on the ground, it was not looking what i expected, so i putted several down. okej, fine, nice warm feets now when i walk over it i tought. so, i left the house, but when i came back, and i wanted to run to the second floor, i walked in to a bear pelt (strange enough not over it) and it flew right in to all my table decoration. untill today every time i enter the house, the chees and bread is laying all over the place :P

There's a MOD on Nexus which makes all the quivers closer to the back (some clipping occurs with certain armor vests but it's minimal). Try looking for "closer quivers" or something like that.

The solution is to use first person because that's really what Beth wants.

Short answer: to avoid clipping.

It will also actually benefit PC users later now that the CK is out custom armors are surely coming. Almost nothing will clip with that 10ft between your back and your quiver. :)
