No console license fee.

Indeed. For console games a % goes to Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft (depending on the console) even though they didn't make the game. That's not the case with PC games.

Yup, I believe it is to make up for the fact they sell consoles at a loss, so you only pay like 300$ for it. PC's on average cost more like 600$-1k$ so we get cheaper games.

also microsoft and sony get to set the price of the games sold on there systems that is why all new console games are 59.99 and pc games are 39.99-49.99 except for ubisoft blizzard and activision who seem to want to make pc games cost 59.99

Yea, plus we love to upgrade our individual components and build new systems.

My next system will be a gaming and render monster. Then I'm building a NAS+Media Center+Router rig. Both water cooled! Fun! :D

You forgot an important one.

People don't trade PC games (and with the inclusion of Steamworks, can't). Every person that played Fallout: New Vegas on PC will be paying for it (just forget about that 'other' crowd for the sake of the argument).
The console edition, on the other hand, can be traded like a commodity. And any one instance of the game may be sold two, three or more times. The publisher needs to make a few extra dollars on that sale to make up for the fact that they'll loose sales on the platform to trading.

The cost covers the additional programming work needed to dumb down a PC based game so it can port to consoles.
