Chess is a representation of war. It requires a lot of strategy and thinking. It is a very old game and the concept is easy to learn, which is why it doesn't have a high age requirement. Age requirements are just there to show what age someone should be to be able to understand the rules.
chess is in reference to a person seen as overly worried about small details of form, style and etiquette; who is uptight or distressed over ordinarily minor problems, and unable to adopt a philosophical attitude toward mistakes. Maybe its me, idk, but it definitely doesn't represent war.
