Why were YOU crossing the border?

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 11:05 am

Umarleazohn, an elitist Altmer crossed from Cyrodiil out of the hopes to find an ignorant land ripe for the picking! Umarlezohn is a practitioner of the dark arts. The much more civilized Imperials were to clever to risk persecution for Necromancy, Cannibalism, Murder etc... He also always had a feeling that Skyrim is where he belongs, like the land and his destiny were united.

First character, Breton Mage: He got lost in the Jeral Mountains and ended up wandering across the border into Skyrim. Descendent of my Mages Guild character in Oblivion. (I don't play guilds with characters that don't fit the guild's talents)

Second character, Imperial Legionaire: She saw the Legion ambushing the Stormcloaks and tried to help. Unfortunately, her blade hit one of the Legionaries during the battle.

Third Character, Dunmer Assassin: He was a refugee traveling to Skyrim.

Fourth Character, Nord Mage: She wanted to join the College of Winterhold. She was not interested in the politics of Cyrodill's College of Whispers and the Synod.

Name-Kama
Race-Nord
six-Male
Bio-A 500 year-old vampire thief. Down to earth kinda guy...

As Kama was eating his lunch a bird swooped down and grabbed his last AND favorite double-chocolate chip cookie with extra chocolate chips!! He was like "Oh no you don't!!!! Not this time Franky!!!!" He chased the pigeon for days, never stopping to take a break and after a long journey and run he finally caught him. He started laughing and took the cookie from Frankies beak. "I win this time old friend!" he said, releasing Franky from his grasp and stopped to take a breather. Right then he realized he was standing the the middle of a Stormcloak on Imperial battle.

"OH SH*T!" thought Kama! "I got to get outta here!!!" He stuffed the double-chocolate chip cookie with extra chocolate chips in his mouth as fast as he could and then made a run for it. Dodging a stray blade from striking a killing blow to his chest by mere inches and jumping over another, he climbed a tree to better see what was going on. He seen that the Stoamcloaks were badly outnumbered and were losing fast. Jumping from the tree, he landed on one of the Imperial soldiers, knocking him out instantly and saved a Stormcloak from a sword to the gut. "Whew...! I thought I was a goner for sure there! You have my thanks kind Sir" said the Stormcloak.
"No problem man!!" Giving him a thumbs ups. "Anything for a fellow Nord! Now do you by chances know the way outta here?" Replied Kama while dodging a couple of arrows. "Where you looking to go friend?" Asked the Stormcloak, tearing his sword out from an Imperials gut. "Umm...I dunno. Away from here I guess. Seems a little hazardous around here." Kama says while punching an Imperial and holding him by the neck of his armor. "The fastest way out is an axe to the head, but if you want to live another day then go straight till you see our wagon and turn left. You should see a river, just follow it til your get to where ever you want to go." the Stormcloak says. "While thats very helpful of you man. I guess I'll be on my way then." Kama says while running for the wagon across the battlefield, waving good-bye to his new found friend. While running he slips in a puddle of blood left behind by a poor Stormcloak, and knocks hits his head on a iron shield, knocking him out.

After a nice little nap, Kama wakes up to find he's still on the laying in the puddle of blood. He realized the battles done and the Imperials have won. Kama stands up to find he's been sleeping for a few hours and that night has fallen and blackened the sky. Moaning in pain, Kama walks around still dazed but tries to find the wagon. "Hey!! We got another live one over here. He doesn't look like a Stormcloak though!" Yells an Imperial soldier across the field. "That's the one who beat me up during the battle!" Yells another. Kama still standing and trying to put the pieces together walks around confused, "I think he's drunk sir" Says an Imperial soldier to the commander. "Put him with the rest one the survivors." Says the commander calmly. As two Imperials start to walk up to Kama, he mutters "This reminds me of the time when I walked into the women's bath chamber and they all..." BANG! An Imperial knocks Kama out with his shield.

Then Kama awoke on a wagon that was headed to his execution site and you know the rest....THE END!!!!

My Breton,Telwynn Drayng, is the descendent of Roderick Drayng,The Neverine.After the failure of the Raven Rock colony and the thwarting of the Bloodmoon prophecy,Roderick took his knowledge,and wealth and returned to High Rock where he arrived just as The Oblivion Crisis kicked off.His knowledge and experiences in Morrowind helped High Rock considerably during this time,and he found himself granted a title and lands for his efforts.(Roderick's younger brother Axel was last seen entering a strange gate in the middle of a lake in Cyrodil).The Drayngs were an honorable people who followed the law,unless it stood between them and something they really wanted to do.Telwynn's father was a member of a secret underground movement dedicated to founding a new Empire from the Nords,Redguards,Orcs,and Bretons to take on the Elves.The group was discovered and Castle Drayng sacked.Telwynn is the last survivor and he's come to Skyrim to try and win the support of the Nords and take revenge on the Thalmor.

My character is an Imperial who was raised by Nords and is of mixed ancestry.

A capable soldier but not one for army life, after the break out of the civil war, he abandoned his position as an Imperial forester and made his way to Skyrim to see for himself where is loyalties lay.

That's when he was arrested at the border and sentenced to death as a "traitor" under martial law.

Mothi, a Nord warrior whose family was slaughtered by the Thalmor, set out to flee back to his homeland Skyrim. However, as I crossed the border I took an arrow to the knee and got captured with some rebellious Stormcloaks.

Nord warrior: Avatar of Talos
watching the lands that he united long ago begin to crumble, and his people being punished for beliving in him. he descended back down to Tamriel in the guise of a prisoner. after observing a few of the major players and the chaos they and the dragons had brought on the world he steped out of a cave. .

. . and whilst some mortal man talked he drew his sword and looked over the world. .how would it react to the change he was about to start?

"Time to find out!"

Heh. I'm not posting ten backstories....

Latest one: Sieglinde, a Nord of pure ancestry, was a tiny child when her family was caught in a major avalanche near the border of Cyrodiil. When a farmer happened along, she was barely alive. He took her home to his goodwife, and they raised her to be a proper Imperial farmgirl. They eventually told her what happened, when she questioned why her looks were so different from theirs, and why she remembered another mother and father.... She loved Hamlorth and Igraine, but she resolved to someday find her real family if any were left.

She grew to young womanhood, joined the local guard, and did very well - until the captain took a liking to her.... and was willing to enforce her submission by the expedient of killing her parents.... She went berserk, killed the captain, and ran. A few days of hiding and running, and she realized she was headed north - for home. She crossed into Skyrim close to Fort Neugrad, but felt a bit odd about the area and the guards there, and decided to head for Riverwood - a town recommended by a hunter who had shared his venison with her.

Not really knowing the lay of the land, she walked right into an ambush of Stormcloaks by the Imperials just south of Helgen. Regardless she was dressed as any Cyrodilic town guard would be, and regardless she spoke in the accents of the farmfolk of northern Cyrodiil, General Tullius swept her up as just another lying Stormcloak, and....

there she was.

Publius Cerialis - An Imperial officer who was sent to Skyrim as a military Tribune. He got robbed while sleeping drunken in an inn near the border, so he lost all of his armour and documents. Got captured when he threatened the border patrol officer with harsh punishment for not salute-ing properly when he came there only cled into his underwear.

Idril Celebrindal - High Elven princess who was sent to Skyrim by the Altmeri High Council to watch the Thalmor activity. She got caught by Ulfric and his companions just a few hours before they got caught by the Imperials. Ulfric then told the Imperial commander that she was his concubine and therefore she got on the block,too.

Artemus Cyrus

Artemus was a common Nord farmboy whose family were brutally slaughtered by a group of Falmer when he was about 13. He then fled towards Morrowind eventually being found and raised by a lone Dunmer warrior who carried a curious weapon known as True Flame. When he was aged 18 he returned to Skyrim via Windhelm but was appalled at the treatment of the Dunmer refugees. His anger was fueled further when Ulfric slew the High King and took his place. Angry and felling betrayed Artemus vowed to leave Skyrim forever and eventually headed towards Cyrodil. He managed to sneak into Bruma and gazed upon a long since destroyed statue of the Champion of Cyrodil. Seeing this great hero gave the young Artemus a sense of purpose so he quickly made his way back towards Skyrim. During his travels he met a adventurer who acted as his companion and swore to protect him from harm after Artemus saved his life from a Sabrecat attack. Upon his arrival in Skyrim he was beset upon by Imperial Soldiers the loyal adventurer was true to his word and stood between Artmeus and his would be captors. However fortunes would not smile on the young Artemus that day as his loyal adventurer took a arrow, straight to his knee. Of course no Adventurer could adventure with a arrow in his knee so Artemus' loyal friend was forced to abandon him. As the Imperial Soldiers hauled him to the nearby Helgen Artemus swore that no matter how long it would take one day who would find the adventureer with a bum knee..........

Grimthar Broodhelm

A Dunmer whose descendants fled Kvatch during the Oblivion Crisis, "Grimthar the Brash" has fallen on hard times. Forced to abandon his home in Anvil after a misunderstanding with pirate raiders, he has traveled to Skyrim in hopes of starting life anew. However, with the Empire crumbling and tensions rising in the Nord-land, Grimthar's timing couldn't be worse and all his noble efforts may be for naught.

Avarius - A Nord Assassin and Thief (Bow, Illusion Magic, and One Handed Sword)

Avarius was born in poverty in Skyrim to a warrior Nord father and an Imperial mother who was once a Court Mage before a political scandal. As a child, he was a typical Skyrim urchin. He learned a few magic spells but Avarius' affinity was for the blade. Quickly, Avarius learned to sneak around and steal a few loaves of bread to feed himself. Later, Avarius ended up becoming a somewhat infamous thief.

When Avarius was about 16 years old, he left Skyrim after his parents died of Imperial Legionaries who tried to sixually assault his mother. Avarius lived for ten years in Cyrodiil as a petty thief and a parlor trick illusionist. Finally, Avarius was 26, he wanted to return to Skyrim.

Completely unaware of the stuff going on, he found a group of fellow Nords with somebody looking important and just tagged along. Turns out they were Stormcloaks.
~~~~~~~~~~
So Avarius sides with the Stormcloaks both because he was a fellow Nord, he has a close friendship with Ralof, and he wants vengeance on the Legionaries.
I turned off the map boundary clipping in Oblivion, and crossed over the border north of bruma while trying to exploit my way up a cliff face. And the guards were like STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM, and next thing I know I'm in helgen and they'll all like "Off with their head trollface.jpg" and Alduins all "FUS RO DAH, lol"
Khajiit - I heard Skyrim allowed gay marriage. Lucky me I ended up in a wagon with a bunch of sweaty guys! win win.
Unfortunatly, you're still not going to get any tail with your own kind, gay or otherwise... unless they're a more adventurous khajiit.
