Has been away from whiterun for some time (probably half a RL week) and been around many other citys. Decided to return home to dissenchant some things and put gems in my kettle. On my way up to the Dragonsreach i saw this

What on earth killed two guards while i was away (This is outside Dragonsreach door). I sure did not, am a thief and assassin, i had no contract on those guards (Besides i never do "business" in my hometown) AND when i kill i use arrows.. Which these two fellahs dont have in their body's Could not been a dragon since i did not see a dragons corpse anywhere (Which was my first guess)

They are still laying there, a few RL days later

And also while am at it.. I tend to stumble upon random dead thief's around the holds.. Is this normal?

This is a cool story too.

And yeah, a random bear or a sabre cat can take them out just fine.

there are a lot of mystery deaths, thieves tend to get themselves killed by guards though, I've not seen a random thief not get himself caught.

I usually end up helping the guards take them down, I cant have them selling my organization out just to get a free pass from jail.

Yeah i know they can.. But this was the way up at the Jarls place in Whiterun.. (Dragonsreach)
The sabre must have gotten into the city and walked past everyone and everything to kill those two fellahs
