Wierd thing..

I think Bethesda should look into something that just happened to me.. I decided to play abit on my highwayman character. Got bored and did a break in at the stables in Whiterun, wiped out the entire family before plundering their home and left without a witness.. (was in the middle of the night)

And later today i got three hired thugs, carrying a contract from.. "Jervar". The stable masters son, so i went back to whiterun and made sure he was less alive :P And yes he was dead among with the others in the household..

So how can a dead guy hire thugs? I mean i did wipe them so i wouldn't have to deal with thugs invading my camp (yes i have a camp.. ehr tent) :P

Did you kill him first? He might have scratched down a note to order the thugs while you took care of the rest of the family xD.

Since release? Wow.. Ive played since release but really this is the first time i play this kind of character so i havnt really noticed..
They should really fix that, could it be that hard? (I dont mean it in a rude way, am just not even remotely familiar with programming myself)

Hardly high on the list of things to do. It's an annoyance if aynthing tbh, time is better spent fixing game breaking bugs and other things that can ruin the game.

Exactly this, although I do agree with the OP that it's kind of strange reading those note's xD

It could be much worse, like Oblivion's guards that made thieving and murdering near impossible.

But I liked how, with the KotN DLC, if you were undetected not even the gods saw you commit crimes.

I and many others have pickpocketed the heart of a Forsworn Briarheart, so that they die, only to have them send hired thugs after us.
