So after speaking with Annekke Crag-Jumper and her telling me about how she'd rather explore then be stuck with her husband in town, I decided I would grant her that wish. I actually took it a step further.

I first paid a visit to her husband in the mines and killed him in secret. I then visited her and used the console codes to marry her. We got married and she settled in my house in Riften.

A few days later I'm traveling through Riften where I'm greeted by hired thugs who try to kill me. I dispatch them and search their body to find the hit put out by Annekke Crag-Jumper, my wife! It was for murdering her husband days before.

Needless to say I sleep with one eye open in town. I'm thinkin bout takin her down to the river just for good measure.

Anyone have any funny or weird hits put on them? =D

I got a hit put out on me by a generic guard once, and the name on the note just said 'Markarth guard'

My wife tries to kill me every [censored] day

On one of my playthroughs I walked out of the starting cave, went over a river and got chased by wolves.
Led them to a crazy witch's cabin and she was killed. After killing the wolves I stole some of her cabin's stuff for alchemy.
Later, I got a hit put out on my life from someone called Moira- I thought originally it was the Moira of craterside supply (FO3)..

Learning later that it was a hit put out by my future hagraven vegas-wife! ha. What an odd turn of events.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, but apparently it was som chick called Sylgja who was pissed that I killed Annekke's husband. Sylgja lies dead in the forest now.

Stole form Flecher's Shop without getting seen.

Waited 48 hours for the shop to restock.

I come back in the shop and 3 hired thugs are leaning on the front desk in Flecher's shop like they own the place.

Flecher was sitting on the chair behind them.

Not a good way to treat your only customer.

Pickpocketed a Forsworn Briarhearts Briar Heart, killing him instantly.

Several days later, I got attacked by three thugs I slaughtered easily. They were hired by Forsworn Briarheart.

Hagravens revived him...... I guess?

Thats an insta kill on Briarhearts? Dang, I'll have to try that

Iv'e never had anyone try to kill me, I guess I'm just a popular guy!

I have had several Dark Brother Hood assasins come after me, but the note never says who put out the hit. All it says is someone wants this poor fool dead. Does anyone know what triggers that? I haven't stolen anything or murdered anyone. (Well that I am aware of)

The Dark Brotherhood assassins just start coming once your fame starts growing. No one in particular is sending them, though I understand joining the Brotherhood puts an end to it.

This is the reason why the Skyrim sanctuary is all whats left of the Dark Brotherhood. They just keep sending assassins to their deaths. Talk about honoring their contract.

This is why my character when given the chance to join the brotherhood, decided to destroy it instead. Once I did that, they stopped... I was just wondering who I ticked off.

There's a console code to marry any character? What is it?

Same thing happen to me, I already got like 2 assassin from DB after my life by far and of course their corpses is now rotting off some where on the road but why would they wanted to kill me? I mean all I did is going around slaughter bandits and rouge warriors...

I never steal or murder people, you guys deserve worse than that.

What I want to know is how the hell are people you kill putting contracts on you. One of the contracts I killed for DB put one on me after I already killed him. It was the vampire and I killed him and his wife. But I noticed when I went back to their place. Only his body was gone and hers was still there......

Maybe he wasn't as dead as you thought?

at my wedding with aela the huntress, when the ceramony began hired thugs attacked me. i left my good weapons at home in Whiterun so i had to re load a saved game, they did not return so i have no idea who put the hit out on me...

Am I the only one who thought this would be a tale about how his RL wife is pissed that he's playing too much Skyrim?

I haven't had many such run-ins, but I have had a couple where the person who put the hit out on me was someone I hadn't even met yet, let alone killed or stole from.

Take her out man, before it's too late.
