You know the bug, it's there since beginning: giants with a power hit can make you fly to the moon...

(BTW, why the giants move mouths but don't emit sound shouting at you nearby?)

Will ever Bethesda correct these kind of bugs/glitches? This product needs a bit more care, before new adds

It is a glitch but since it only happens when a giant kills you it is fine and BGS is keeping it.
If you do not want to wait until you fall down just pause the game and manually reload the save.

To be specific, it's the giant's golf club. Put it to scale and it doesn't seem so absurd.

Why should they?
Yeah, it's a glitch. But it's not one that detracts in any way from the game. Heck, an argument can be made it ads to the game as some people find it funny. So why should Bethesda put resources into fixing something that doesn't really need fixing?

Why does this bug annoy you?
Many like it and find it hilarious and if it annoys you waiting to come back down from space manually reload the save or just steer clear of giants altogether.

Heck even mod a fix for it and have it for you and you only.

I think it is one of the coolest ways to die in the game. I don't care if it is by design or by bug, it needs to stay.

I seem to remember prior to release, (Tood, I think) said they (Bethesda) would probably not fix some of the more entertaining bugs in the game. IMO, this one qualifies. I recently watched a fight between and ice mage, fire mage, and a giant. The giant won, he also sent the winning mage into orbit, and when he finally landed a few seconds later, he landed about five feet from where I was standing....of course I had to hunt down the others I wanted to loot, but it was a houmorous sight.

I just looked up Giants in the CK. The 'outer space' effect only happens when the Giant performs a power attack. The Giant's Power Atteck is actually a Destruction spell that is unique to that particular power attack. It is called "crGiantClubSlam" and it hits the player with a massive stagger effect among other things. It is not a glitch. It is coded into the game.

I'm with the majority here, don't fix it! I've never found this to be game breaking but rather enjoyable and laughable. It's always nice to say, "Oh crap, lost to the giant and here I gooooooo" as my character flies a few thousand feet into the sky as a bloody mess.

I for one hope it stays in game, I was walking to Rifton(the back way ) and it started to rain Orc's :biggrin:

It was soOOOo funny, even more so once I saw the giant attacking the Orc long house and witnessed an Orc astronaut on his maiden voyage to the moon :laugh:
