Will brawling make Mikael leave the Bannered Mare?

I have the misc. quest where Carlotta Valentia asks me to talk to Mikael. If I persuade, pay-off or brawl with him (and win) does he leave the Bannered Mare? If I hear "Ragnar the Red" one more time I think I'm gonna choke him! :banghead:

Nah, he sticks around. but at least you get to beat him up.

Damn. I might have to figure out a way to off the dude without turning Whiterun against me.

Just walk up and slice him up, then pay the court a fine or serve your sentence.
