Will Brink have support after Skyrim GSTAFF?

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 5:12 pm

Been awhile since I've been on these forums and have been looking at some of the conversations going on about what’s going on with Brink. I'm a returning Vet wanting to know will there be any support AT ALL with this game after Skyrim comes out. When I say support I mean clan support, tournaments (for all systems), regular updates and new DLC. We have a lot of loyal players that would continue to support this game even if new titles are going to come out and especially new players. Hell, when I bought Battlefield 3 I didn't even have as much fun as I did with Brink, I feel like they didn't really do ANYTHING that really stood out other then polished graphics and light elements of Parkour. Goes to show you, you don't need a lot of money or lights, smoke and mirrors to dazzle us. So what's going on Bethesda, are we getting anything other than just updates and clan support?

Oh and what happened to all my points that I had? I had well over 5 million XP, in fact close to 6 million and it's all gone. Do I just have to pop in BRINK again to get my points back or does this officially mean they are gone and I have to restart all over again?

Wouldn't get your hopes up bro. Beth have bigger fish to fry.

Also nice avatar. I was literally just playing that game half an hour ago.

I hope they focus on skyrim rather than brink, brink is nothing compared to Skyrim. I love brink but who are we kidding that'd just be fiscally irresponsible.

SD said that they can still work on the game only if Bethesda funded them.

In short Bethesda doesn't and didn't ever care about Brink.

ps. Bethesda is the only thing stopping an SDK

It's not even in the same genre.... Your putting up a MP game against a SP one.. One's FPS Future, the other is F/TPRPG Medieval. Brink is most certainly something compared to Skyrim. Your arguement is invalid.

Regardless, I would like GSTAFF to fill us in on whats going on, I got a few other of my friends to buy brand new copies again to show support to Bethesda and S.D., every little counts.

I'm not talking about your opinion or genre, I'm talking about fanbase, priorities and what keeps them in business. Brink fell flat on its face, skyrim has been anticipated since oblivion and unlike brink, by more then a couple hundred people. Your a really devoted fan and that's great, but they need to focus on the big picture games.
