Like Shivering Isles? I hear that some of the new areas will be quite large.

A big paper map... with an electronic download?

I'd love to see someone pull this one off...

What? no the new areas are seemlessly intergrated into the existing map with the exception of the soul carin.

It's a download, with physical copies coming later that might have a map.
As of now, more than likely no map, unless you get one mailed to you, which is unlikely.

Which is seemlessly intergrated into the existing map as stated in other articles and E3 interviews. The new land would appear on the already existing(though blank) areas of the existing physical map.

DLC's like in the Fallout games or the Shivering Isles took you to and entirely new place through some portal, door or plot device, its cleary they've been added on. The new areas of Dawnguard will be more seemlessly intergrated making the map bigger not adding a new one.(except the soul carin)

We will get Soul Cairn , which said to be pretty big.
And the castle of the Vampires is placed FAR from the coasts of Skyrim.

Which BECOMES accessible once the DLC is installed it has been said REPEATEDLY the new areas are seemlessly intergrated.(not counting the soul carin) The castle is located in the "northwest corner of the map" So it will be on the same map as Solitude, Whiterun and all the other cities, towns and skyrim locations, once the DLC is installed. Castle Dawnguard has Riften like terrain around it putting it on the opposite side of the gameworld.

Its not a seperate landmass like we're used to in previous DLC's. (except once again the soul carin). The existing map is getting bigger.

The soul cairn might since it's just a general representation of the landscape.

i think he's right. if you look in-game on the skyrim maps large areas are cut off around the borders covered by fog and that are inaccessible.

Castle Dawnguard is located southeast of Riften and Castle Volkihar is located on an island in the northwest. They are on opposite sides of Skyrim not in there own unique map like we've seen in other DLCs. Its possible that updated skyrim map will be included with future copies that are bundled with all the DLC we are eventually getting.
