Obviously the main goal in patching is to remove some game breaking issues people are having, but I was genuinely wondering if, for Xbox and PS users, some of the gaming experience itself would change.
It would seem unlikely, but certain elements seem kind of unfinished.
An example would be crafting: Tons of ingredients, but, even at a high skill, the number you need vs what you find out there just doesn't allow you to craft very much, especially if it involves more than one ingredient. at 75 survival, with a bunch of ingredients, I've only made something beyond the 1 ingredient steaks a few times. That's fine, as they heal a ton and are easy to make, but it does seem a bit of a waste, as there are a ton of possible items to craft, and I've only moved beyond steak a handful of times, simply because I lack the ingredient, or the number necessary to create.
What are the chances that a future patch (not necessarily one to fix major bugs) would ever address that for us console users?
I'm sure others could think of some things that seem as if they were not fully implemented for one reason or another, as if they were meant to be fleshed out, but ended up being rushed.
And PC users, yes, I know "This is why I would never buy a game like this on Console." Thanks, please click the back button now and save yourself the 10 seconds it would take you to post that.
