Will My PC Run Skyrim On Ultra?

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 9:06 am

My PC is an ASUS CM6730 with a 700 Watt Cool Master Modular PSU and a 560 ti twin frosr ii overclocked GPU. You know what, I'll just post my build.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
HDD: 1TB 7200 RPM
RAM: 8GB DDR3 ( I'm guessing 1300 mhz but I'm not entirely sure )
CPU: I5-2310 2.9ghz ( not overclocked )
GPU: MSI 560 ti twin frosr II overclocked
PSU: 700 Watt Modular Coolmaster
Monitor: 1080p 1920x1080 ViewSonic 22"

Will this computer handle Skyrim at max settings well?

Yup.

Even the higher settings like Anti-aliasing and the like? What FPS would you expect it to be around at 1920x1080p with all of the settings turned all of the way up?

Yeah my bad, I found it immediately after I started this topic, but that basically just describes "high" settings and not "ultra".

It's a general thread for these types of questions. You can always report your post and request a merge, if you'd like.

Good idea, and done. But while that's working it's way over, I went through the list of GPUs given for playing ultra settings ( the ones closer to the top will play it with even better settings and give better performance ).

Now, is this, or isn't this, taking into account Overclocks? So for example, I'm getting a 560 ti twin frosr ii ( 384 ) , if I overclock it, would it roughly fall within that rank order / chart?

Sterlin:

Use the qoute button in this thread on the post that you want and then reply in the stickied thread and it will carry over. Plus, it will look like you posted. Merging a few posts from a thread into another one is a bit tricky and I don't want to mess it up.
