Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 11:08 pm

Yes, I know there isnt games with all the areas in Tamriel yet, but im just curious as to other continents (if thats the word for it) in the world TES is set in. And what they would be like, what creatures would be there, and so on. What are yalls thoughts?

I think the next Elder Scrolls should be set in Texas...

I mean, with all the people complaining about it not being scary enough, that might be just what we need.

The next TES game should be set in Hammerfell, then BlackMarsh, Elswyere, Valenwood and Summerset Isle. They wouldn't be able to do some of these places justice if they made them right now. Assuming the next Elderscrolls comes out in 2016, a desert wouldn't be too hard to pull off and we've barley touched Hammerfell in this series.

I thnk maybe the plots involving the Redguards in Whiterun might be a hint of an expansion or the next game

Arena had all the provinces of Tamriel. And I consider the Shivering Isles expansion to count as a "ES game not taking place in Tamriel."

They've already done Hammerfell - Twice.

The only "mer home-land" that ever actually existed is Tamriel. The "Aldmeris" place is just elven delusion.

I'd just be glad to have Elder Scrolls: Alinor.

In fact, I think that's why they renamed Summerset Isles to "Alinor". Sounds better in the title.

They will probably never make an Elder Scrolls game centered around Elsweyr or Black Marsh, simply because a beast race as the poster character will not be marketable enough.

Think the next game they should be set in the whole of Tamriel and the race you chose would determine your start location and the main plot line. So if your chose Redguard you would start in Hammerfell etc.

I want to go to Akavir... No excuse for it to not feel alien like Morrowind... Same for Black Marsh. There is much unique artistic potential for both, aswell as other continents, i just hope we dont go to a province that is too.... Generic.... Need less romanish feeling games and more fantasy!

Maybe Akavir, although the Empire's in no shape to launch another invasion so I don't see it happening.
Yokuda's still there, but there's not much left. A few small islands dotted about the sea west of Hammerfell.
Atmora's frozen, but it's possible that whatever climate shift froze it has reversed itself by now. So maybe.
Aldmeris is gone. Lost completely. So it won't be there.

I'd personally like to see an Imperial expedition launched to Atmora to see what's happening up there, it's been long enough that it could have thawed out by now.

I would like the chance to explore the rest of Morrowind, The Game Morrowind was only actually on the island of Vvardefell with a expansion into one main city of the mainland, there is plenty of the mainland to still see and that would warrent a game in its own right,

Maybe even including the new Vvardenfell after the eruption of Red mountain.

Wouldn't be the same IMO. Expansions to go to other places yeah, but Elder Scrolls IS Tamriel!

In many years once we've seen all the other provinces first.

Hopefully we'll see Summerset Isle & Valenwood next carrying on the Aldmeri Dominion story (Complete with an expansion with the tropical island paradise of Pyandonea :))

i'm fairly sure alinor is the next location, morrowind was supposed to be summerset isle back in the day (or so i've heard)

Actually its funny but i don't think any of the games have been set in a providence with an elvish view of the world, even the dunmer recognize lorkhan's prison as a chance for something greater...or vehk did
