As the topic title says, will Bethesda ever fix this one?
Not to be ungrateful (nor grateful) but, we've been patched up to 1.4 and they completely ignored the cornered rat quest?

Sure you have fixes out there, but not many people are like you and me, i mean...Some people refuse to download fixes from other sites because of viruses and whatnot.

What exactly is the problem with the quest? I've never had an issue with it.

The problem may not have been fixed by Bethesda as it may not have been established if it was due to a bug or people editing (or something editing without their knowledge) their INI files.

As far as I understand it, it's caused by the Skyrim - Voicesixtra.bsa entry being missing from Skyrim.ini, not an engine or data file error. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:A_Cornered_Rat#Bugs.

If your INI Is like this with this entry missing, any idea how it would have gotten this way? Do any "tweaks" to it or install any mods that may have altered it?
