The release of Skyrim has nothing to do with Fallout.

Bethesda is making the DLCs for NV? I thought it was Obsidian who was making the DLCs since they made the game. If so then you should expect more since they are not working on Skyrim.

Ahem!

According to one video game news blog[9], a source "close to Bethesda Softworks" spoke to journalists on condition of anonymity, saying that four DLC's other than Dead Money were in development as of December 2010, with two others being considered, which if approved would make for a total of seven add-ons for release over the next two years. Of the four DLC's planned for release after Dead Money, the source was said to have stated that the Courier has a "relationship" with Ulysses and that the nature of the relationship would surprise players. He also said that a future DLC would add an area to the game that players "likely thought they would never see", as well as "a personality [from] Fallout 3".

Obsidian is making or charged 7 Add-on(DLC) for New Vegas, not Bethsda. What are you, hide under the rock?

This source is almost 100% likely to be false. There is no reason to take it as fact, and using the "hiding under a rock" expression is a bit uncalled for.

Expect 4 DLCs. Game files, trademarks that Zenimax just placed, and snow globe space all point to 4. It's possibly we may have more, but I would count on 4 so as not to be disappointed.

Elder Scrolls 5 "it's own standalone game"
Fallout 3 "official DLC is done no more to be released"
Fallout New Vegas "has 1 DLC out right now with at least 2 or 3 maybe 4 more DLC to be released"

since new vegas was such a big letdown to most people in that its fun for a month then the environment gets very static and boring, its starting to look like not many people are gonna be around to buy 5 dlcs, and it has been over 3 months and no word of more dlc, so its not looking good, it would not suprise me if some/rest of them got cancelled.

Bethesda just needs to get off their butt and give us some info. They did not go a good job with QA and now they arn't doing a good job with promoting it.

The shelf in the Lucky 38 has room for 4 snowglobes (including the Dead Money one)
Unless one DLC doesn't have a snowglobe (which I doubt).

hopefully they're going to breathe some life into the main game with the next dlc, the polls show well over half of the people who bought new vegas are already bored with it, not many people are gonna be around to buy 5 dlc unless the base game gets fixed so hopefully thats the hold up.
