Actually the TARDIS was in FO1. Also, we don't know about anything that will happen with WW except the Holy Hand Grenade Of Antioch and Indiana Jones in a fridge.

I think I'd prefer a Mythbusters reference. A pair of ghouls debating how likely the Archimedes II laser is to actually work? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3udgbHjWCs. :D

You know what Dr. Who is, right? If not you should watch a few episodes. :goodjob:

Pawn Stars is a show on The History Channel (I refuse to call it "History") that's about a couple of guys that run a pawn shop in Vegas. People bring in an item and there will generally be a short (Or sometimes long) segment eplaining what this item is and where it came from. Sometimes people bring in some really strange and interesting stuff, it can get really wacky sometimes.

Anyway, people want Pawns Stars in the game because, well, simply put, just because it happens to be located in Vegas. I have no idea why people always want Dr. Who though.

People repeating monotonous 'I think's' about what pop culture crap should be in New Vegas.

I want to come across shallow graves on the outskirts of vegas. The house always wins.

As for ps? A pawn shop is almost mandatory in vegas. Probably as a "General Store" run by a bunch of fat guys that [censored] you as much as they can, only to sell it for triple. The pawn shop is also a great place for rare/one of a kind items, and home decor items.

I really like Dr. Who, but I don't really want to see him in Fallout. I don't really get why people would. I guess it would make a cool DLC. Take the tardis with Dr. Who and explore some alien world.

lol, or perhaps we find Jamie's truck(Or, well, a 50's stylized variant of which) still stuck out in the Mojave from when they tried their Confederate Rocket experiment.

if anything, there should be references to Mad Max, Book of Eli, Waterworld etc etc rather than completely leftfield off-topic references that make no sense.

That "Indiana Jones in a fridge" reference makes me face/palm, but at least it is on-topic (ish)

seriously... pawn stars. thats kinda stupid. try some thing along the lines of

matriarch deathclaw
talking deathclaws
wanamingos
rat pack references
i think they said some thing about the star ship enterprise
maybe a few rainbow 6 references (so many vegas games now, rainbow 6 vegas 1 and 2, dead rising 2, now fallout new vegas)
maybe a "flintstones go to rock vegas" reference (idk if thats the actual title)
maybe a few things that break the fourth wall
The Master references
maybe an Arnold Schwarzenegger reference (from NCR members like "GET TO THE VERTIBIRD" or "COME WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO LIVE")
maybe a slave in Ceasers legion could be named Cleopatra
a single nuke cola quantum. all i want is one. just a SINGLE quantum. for teh LULZ
i would like to see the original enclave armor as seen in fallout 2
any thing liam neeson. hell i would even take darkman references.
i think i read something about "Aradesh village" (not confirmed or any thing, i was reading on the fallout wiki earlier and i could just be delusional.)
i would like elder scrolls/brink references.
maybe memoirs from fallout 3. who knows!

my point is. there is SO much out there, and these all have some form of connection to the game, unlike pawn friggen stars. you guys can think of some thing better than pawn stars right.

*disclaimer* this is only a few things i would LIKE to see references to, not things i say should be in, or are in, the game.

i don,t think there will be any doctor who refs as doctor who is worth a lot in copyrights and royalts now
but when they made FO1 doctor who was not worth as much not as popular so no point suing or asking royalts

but a tardis would be great if they ever do a fallout london

There simply has to be some "Fear and loathing" references somewhere. Hopefully there will be a ghoul resembling Raoul Duke in one of the casinos. B)

Why would there be a DW reference? It's not set in London.

If I saw any DW reference in Vegas, it'd be very misplaced, even if it was a destroyed TARDIS lying in rubble.

The tardis was in a random encouinter called Dr Who in the original Fallout

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/TARDIS

The Wild Wastelands trait adds more references to Fallout and Fallout 2 in the random encounters in New Vegas.
