Will you start a new character The day DG comes out?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 10:12 am

I'm debating on whether or not i should start a new character now in preparation for dawnguard... or i might wait till tuesday. Right now my player is too experienced and it probably wouldnt be fun.

What about you guys?

I dunnnnoooo, they said Dg will be for higher level characters. I don't really wanna start a specific character for DG, but most likely all my characters will do the MQ for it.
Hell, they might make it where you HAVE to be a certain level to hear the rumor or however it starts. Like the Dawnstar museum.

I'll start far enough in advance of the release to attain about 20th level to play it.

I have a level 81 character with all skills at 100 with no perks spent just ready to go.

Just have to figure out how I want to play the DLC before I spec him out.

I've been wanting to start a new character for awhile and DG is enough to finally get it done.

No. I won't even have the money to get it for quite a while, in fact. I might get the PC version once the GOTY edition comes out, in fact.

Just started a new character for Dawnguard. He is at level 21 now and that is where I will keep him to start the DLC.

I didn't start new characters for Tribunal, Bloodmoon or Shivering Isles so I seriously doubt I'll start one for Dawnguard.

Nope, I've got my character read with a save that I'm going to use to do both sides.
Then I can decide what side suits her more and go with that one.

Then I'll start a new character focused on the expansion.

I've been busy getting a handful of my characters ready as far as levels and load outs. So far I have 5 characters that will utilize the new DLC, one is only gonna be a werewolf though

With how long this game has been out mate, 'tis not hard.
Plus if he has PC he could just player.advskill until everything is 100.

I have returned to my first character in preparation for dawnguard as I missed a lot on my first playthrough and need him to be ready for dawnguard.

I started a new character in anticipation of Dawnguard last week. Level wise he is ready (39) but there's still plenty of stuff to do in vanilla Skyrim before the 26th. I'm thinking about taking a break from him and jumping back in when Dawnguard releases though.

Yeah I created a character a couple weeks ago just for this. He's at level 42 right now and ready to go.

Yeah I'm level 81 as well. I think I'm going to use that Character first then I'll make a new one after I'm done with my level 81 Character.

I will start a new character, and play through the questline as a level 1. I'm only 9 levels behind, AND I play on the noob novice difficulty level.

I started earlier today and I'm level eight. Not going for any enchanting/smithing upgrades as a templar warrior. Surely blocking magic will help against vampire lords.

Didn't spend perks, or used the Oghma Infinium glitch to instantly level. That is still in the game after the patches isn't it?

I'm still preparing. Created a custom human race with dark elf racial stats, since i think dark elf vamps are unspectecular, not even their eyes change. now i'll be running through the companions quickline quickly( since I cant do that as a vamp later on), get cured, get the black star and hopefully wont be much higher than lvl20 by then.then i'll wait for the release ;)
