Most likey yes, but not for awhile, and then I'll re-evaulate all the mods I'm using and cut them down to just the 20 or so best.

I still have a lot to do in NV, after "completing" the game I still have to make my own mods :P

Well, yeah, after I'm done with Vegas I guess.
But I dunno, I really pumped out everything FO3 had to do so playing it again is like playing Half-Life 1 for the 50th time.
Sooner or later the replayability is going to run out.
Did that with FO3 for me a couple of months ago.
So maybe.

No. I'm not going back anymore. New Vegas is so much "the same game" that going back to where the improvements do not hold anymore, would feel futile (and F3 has been seen and done already - it offers nothing to make the experience different or interesting enough to see it more).

Definetly, after playing my first 200+ hours and getting all the achievements, that is.
Just listened to the GNR songs and the background music from Fo3... it was awesome.

No.

The only reason I would play Fallout 3 again would be for the story(lol) and setting. But, I much prefer the Mojave to the Capital Wasteland. And even if Fallout 3 has a larger array of mods, most of the best will be, inevitably, ported to New Vegas.

Who knows, I may end up doing one final playthrough, but not any time soon.

Yes, but only because there were a couple of DLCs I never got around to finishing. Once I'm done with those, though, I'm probably going to be done with FO3.

I don't think so because I played it so much. In fact, in the 4 months prior to FNV release I went back and played Fallout Tactics 4 times through and it was great.

I like to let games set for a year or two before I go back to them. That way it is not so "familiar" on the subsiquent playthroughs. And, for games I have on PC, it takes that long for the really good mods to sort themselves out. I usually do the second round playthroughs more heavilly modded than the first time through.

I never finished the game nor began any of the DLC, so probably so. I expect to complete certain mods in parallel; one version for each.

To be honest I am not sure if I will have an urge to go back. I mean sure i am going to keep the game because you cant just sell these kind of games. But I am sure in a couple years or after i officially beat New Vegas including all side missions and different endings I will go back just to recap on the old game.

Yes. So far New Vegas is like a BioWare game, good to play for the different storylines, but doesn't have much replayability apart from that. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are what i'll be playing a year from now, heavily modded and then some, naturally.

I played Dragon Age and Mass Effect trough many times after they were released, but haven't touched them afterwards. I'd like to, but can't be bothered. I expect i'll have similar experience with New Vegas.

I never finished the swamp island DLC and never even bought the alien one... I think I'd like to finish those on my pimped evil sniper/assassin character, but not in a hurry to leave the desert yet.

Definitely for me. I only played F3 once, then did a third Oblivion while I was waiting for FNV and it turned out so great, best personal game on that because of the people I was able to save at the final battle.

I'm looking forward to another FNV too, thinking of names and character types but will play something else in between to keep it all fresh. I'm still in my first FNV though! :)

Not for a couple years being that NV is like FO3 only far better in every aspect. I will put it this way. I could pretty much roam around FO3 with a shishkabab singing along to Burning Love while butchering everything in my path at level 5 lol. It was a lot of fun for many many hours, but I prefer the more challenging aspects of NV.

I keep getting tempted to. But I remember that my last attempt to replay Fallout 3 ended in boredom about halfway through. I tried replaying it with the intent to see if it still held my interest enough to buy the DLC. It didn't.

I have yet to play the DLCs The Pit, or Mothership... Unfortunatly I have the others, and these two never seem to be bundled together...

If the price drops on them enough odds are I will pick them up, and replay FO:3.

However I have done just about everything I could do with it as it stand now.

After this play through of FO:NV I may just reinstall FO:2 though...

Probably, at some point, but not anytime soon. I've seen pretty much all that's worth seeing in Fallout 3 several times, so I'm not exactly eager to revisit it at the moment.

I'll definitely go back in about a year or so. After I finish New Vegas I'll be kinda sick of RPGs for a little while though.
