Wireless 360 controller PC adaptor

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 9:49 am

Anyone know a physical retailer I can buy one of these from? I much prefer the 360 controls over a mouse and keyboard, but the only place I can find an offical microsoft adaptor is online, and I've read that a lot of the online retailers sell inferior chinese knockoffs rather than the ones endorsed by microsoft. I'd like to buy one from a store if I can, but I can't even find one in the Fry's merchandise database.

Bestbuy should have them if you have one near you but I can't find it on their website. That's where I got mine but that was a few years ago.

You could always buy a wired 360 controller, then all you do is simply plug it into a usb port.

If you google "wireless Xbox 360 pc controller" tons of results pop up, but I don't know where you are so I can't say if it will be near you. Sears, Toys R Us and Gamestop were all listed for me.

I would think Best Buy or Game Stop would certainly have one.

Thanks guys, I'll throw on my shoes and walk down to gamestop right now to check it out. Fingers crossed that I won't have to drive anywhere.

I recently bought the Logitech F710 wireless gamepad from Fry's.

It works very well with RAGE and appears to be almost identical to a wireless Xbox controller.
