I finally have the PC version of New Vegas installed and because the option seemed easier at the time, I bought a wireless Xbox controller with a wireless adapter to use on my laptop. The game recognizes the controller and there doesn't seem to be any visible lagging, however, the aiming speed is really hard to control when aiming down the sights. I have gone into the game's controller options menu to adjust the sensitivity but this has only made a slight difference in aiming speed. Keep in mind that I have already played this game on the Xbox 360 twice and have never encountered this "slip and slide" feel with the aiming mechanics. Is there a better way to adjust the controller specifically for New Vegas? I am playing the game on Windows XP SP2, 32-bit. Thanks for any help.

Phoo. :cryvaultboy: I was really hoping someone would have an answer or some type of response to this thread.

This is a shot in the dark as I have never done it but navigate to the My Games>FalloutNV folder and open FalloutPrefs.

Hit Ctrl+F and type: controls.

Now scroll down to:

fXenonVertLookSpeed=1200.0000
fXenonHorizLookSpeed=1500.0000

Then play with those numbers. It may have no effect on the controller but worth a shot.
