I wish I hadn't supported this game

by buying it, seeing as how Bethesda only cares about their 360 fans and isn't going to return support to PC(and PS3) fans like me anyway.

I regret buying the CE and supporting this game.

Actually from what I read and heard the PC version has less issues than the console versions...

I'm playing on PC and have encountered about... zero game breaking bugs... and a few CTDs.

I was sceptical at first but this one trumps FO3 on all accounts... I can't even go back to play FO3 anymore. : /

Edit: Patience would help alot this game has been out for what? A good month now?

I agree the DLC exclusivity is a low blow, but why not buy an enjoyable game just over the DLC? My approach to it will be merely to refuse to buy the DLC if it ever becomes available for PS3/PC players as well as complain on the forums and call gamesas money-hoarding ass-clowns as long as possible. :P

1. PC had more support as of now.

2. Major Patch is coming soon. The last one is only a week old.

3. DLC will reach us soon. Just as it happened with Fallout 3.

lol.

Let me guess, you have the 360 version? Skirting around the issue with a weak attempt at a clever response.

it svcks but let not fight.

and yeah he kinda sounded like a jerk when he said that.

but try not to start an argument or mods will be quick to lock this topic.

i have bought every single game in the fallout series, and the collectors edition of 3 and NV.

and the fact that i cant get all the content on the ps3 ticks me off. but thats life

We will get the content eventually.

It's common for M$ to buy off "exlusive rights" to DLC just to get more XBox sales in... and Bethesda/Obsidian are mere companies honoring the call of $$$.
Not the first time it has happened, won't be the last either.

You're a PC user? You have mods available! Even with no DLC you still have the best deal.

Blah blah blah Obisidian/Bethesda is evil for trying to make a profit blah blah blah. Nevermind thats the whole point of a company anyways. Be glad they continue to make Fallout anyways. Bethesda could have bought the rights and done nothing with it.

And yes, I own the game on the Xbox 360.

Also, this.

But that almost standard procedure with any PC games that allow modding, so I blatantly ommitted it. :]

Not to mention a sufficiently energetic and skilled modder can out-do almost any DLC.

Because modders are a funny bunch, they'll keep on modding for five years, long after gamesas has forgotten and the game is languishing in bargain bins in best buys across america, there will be new PC content. I mean good lord, this august there was a new update of a FALLOUT 2 mod!

And if you think all of it still svcks you can go make your own.

Is it a fact no content will be available to others???, if not then no problem.
Besides by the time you finish all possible playthroughs even if you don't have work or school at least one dlc will be available for NV on all consoles, or a new game to focus on.

Besides, besides NCR .... Ahem .... Microrepublic of california is not evil just looking out for it's interests, unlike Stephen's Legion or the steamer's... ( joke, all a joke )

What?
You prefer some lame-o DLC over mods?
I'd rather wait a few months for DLC and have mods.

I have had FO3 for the PC since 2008, and it was not until this year that I bothered with the DLC. I bought ther GOTY edition (for PC) early this year and I still have yet to even begin any of the DLC (its not even installed anymore). The fact the FO:NV has an Xbox exclusive DLC scarcely registers as notable with me.

I'm content with the base game as designed (sans bugs), and anything that I consider amiss with it I can change. Future DLC would have to be fairly incredible to pull me in (and the one released screenshot for this Xbox DLC tells me I don't want it).

Not sure I follow. Yes, you are disappointed that the DLC is 360 exclusive. So am I. But does it really make you regret buying the game?

The DLC's will make it to PC. It would be absolutely idiotic for Beth not to release a version of the DLC's for PC/PS3 when the contract they have with Microsoft expires. Right now they have to stay hush hush about it, because they are contractually obligated to not mention any releases of the DLC for the other platforms. Missing out on millions of dollars not releasing the DLC for PC, and ps3 after they have made there money from Microsoft makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Just chill, and wait like the ps3 users had to with FO3.

So far PC has beat out all platforms to the point where there is really no contest, so I don't think we should cry about getting the DLC a few months after the 360 guys get them. We had less bugs, the bugs we get we can usually easily fix with the console and if you putt together some of the mods that are already out they will easily add up to about 1.5+ big official DLCs. I have also managed to permanently fix about 75% of bugs in the game with player made patches so honestly, lets give the 360 users a cookie by letting them play the DLC first lol.

I have had FO3 PC GOTY pretty much since it came out & have yet to to use the DLC for more than mod compatibility.

Yes, its out of their love of the Xbox that us PC gamers get patches first.

Oh Wait. That doesnt make sense.

As a PC user myself besides the random crashing I can solve most if not all ingame bugs via console and have the ability to make/use/play with mods. So if you are a PC user waiting for a DLC really isn't that big of a deal really.
Also Xbox users are the ones with the atrociously long loading glitch so they deserve a :cookie:
I do feel bad for PS3 users though :(
They don't get mods AND they don't get the DLC.
