Wish Rage was longer?

There are a few people that are saying this game is too short. They say they are beating it in 15 hours or less. I really don't see how. I'm twice that and still have part 3. I have a few tips that some people may not know.

1. Make sure you always talk to every npc all the time. After every mission sometimes a side mission unlocks. There may be an npc that has missions and then all of sudden it'll pop up. So always go back.

2. Job boards: check out the job boards after every mission and sewer you complete.

3. Search for plants in the wasteland. These plants will help you to get full health upgrades.

4. Race. Make sure you race. Racing is a huge part of Rage and it's fun.

Just a few things that I noticed some people are missing.
Add a few if you'd like.

Well said, I think FPS fans who don't bother with the RPG elements are just POWER GAMING it because that's what they know--but yes I think they are cheating themselves part of the GAME. I spoke with one of my friends who was more than 50% through the game and he never even went to the JOB Board..I told him that it's one of the best things about RAGE :) He later thanked me for it...Also as you said, people are missing out on the Sewers, perhaps id could have added ? marks and ! on top of NPC heads ala WOW but maybe they wanted people to want to work for the story.

I finished in under 10 hours. I've talked to everyone everytime i've returned from where ever. I've done all the jobs from the job boards. I've gotten a max of like 6 jobs from each town, that's from both talking to everyone and going to the job board. I don't know what i'm missing, i'm going to talk to everyone one last time tonight in both towns to see if anything crops up. I don't consider racing or delivering for that stanley guy to be side missions and do not have an interest in it. People keep talking about sewers but i don't know where they are. I've started my own post on this also.

The Rpg elements are pretty bare bones in this. I'd say the only folks with a real problem regarding the length, are those who came in expecting a traditional Bethesda length game ala FO3 and Scrolls (or is that the one notch is doing?), otherwise 15 hours is a fairly ok length for an FPS, just blew threw homefront in an afternoon, now theres a fecking short game.

My main issue is the abrupt ending to the game.

Yeah i think they dropped the ball on the ending they could have easily worked something in where they could get closure for the game/battle while extending and opening up the sequel or DLC with the current ending-- this would have made everyone happy. I find it hard to believe that no one raised it up that the ending was soo bad--emperor's new clothes scenario?

Thinking it through they should have had an antagonist in this game not the main main guy but more like a general...fight against him or see him several times during the campaign but get to fight him at the end of the game. A general that had his own scientist Play guinea pig with him and the last fight he RAGEs and becomes part authority part mutant. Deforming right as you fight him because he's lost his mind and wants to kill you so badly he pumps himself with to many nanotrites. Think matsuo in Akira-- when the guy keeps
growing and growing. That would have been a nice ending and would have not tainted a possible sequel since it's just a general and not the leader of the Authority.

Yeah I agree... I'm just over 18 hours into the game and about to leave Wellspring.

I looked up the sewers online and found I had missed two so I'm doing that now. Once you hit the sewers once they appear on the job board again as a mop-up operation.

Also there's more Mutant Bash TV I haven't done yet, which I may come back to later via a save file if I'm locked out later.

Also the mail delivery which is in back under the Sheriff's stairs.
