Wish the game world reacted more dynamically

It's sad that the gameworld is not more dynamic, some things you do don't really affect the world in a proper way. Like for me, I decided already in the beginning that the Legion is my enemy, no questions asked, fair and square. Starting from Vulpes Inculta. I did not agree with what they did, so I blew them away. That was kind of reflected in what happened, later got the messenger with the "pardon" from Caesar. So I went to see Caesar, and after I finished talking to him, blew his head off and slaughtered the whole Fort. But this did not actually have the desired effect on the world, they still kept talking about the Legion growing strong, Caesar this and Caesar that. Only once, in the Brotherhood of Steel HQ, one guard commented "I heard you single handedly took out Caesar", kind of surpriring, since otherwise, it was like it never happened.

I was expecting me to emerge like a hero from that Fort and the NCR praising me to high heavens all over. Also that there never were any conversation options where they talked abnut Caesar where you could say "Caesar is already dead, I killed him"

Really? Every where I went in NCR camps, every single NPC was talking about me killing Caesar.

Also, there is a dialogue option involving telling someone Caesar is dead.

It didn't have the desired effect because you overestimated the value of the act.

How big of an idiot did you take Caesar for? He was already dying as it was. He was prepared for it. Line of succession and all that. Men devoted to a cause that wouldn't be hindered by periods of mourning. A second in command who is prepared to take up the mantle of leadership and is already in command of the military itself.

All you did was put Lanius in charge. When he practically was so anyway.

Weird, didn't happen to me. Only sometime near the end, I started hearing talk about Caesar being dead.

Yeah, I guess I did over-expect the deed :) I kind of thought the whole Legion would be crippled from that moment.
