Wish you could change hairfacial hair.

It would nice if we could do this. It makes no sense that you can't. Have a barber in towns or something. Sometimes you just change your mind and want to alter your characters appearance.

But no...

I agree. Wonder why they didn't add the option.

Yeah, it's one thing to not be able to change your face (although that'd be a nice feature), but a barber would be a cool edition. If insignificant. The towns are kind of lacking enough life anyways. Would be cool if there were more types of events or shops going on.

Yeah i agree.

we can't just pick 1 hair forever

it will be boring...

And i'm just curious, is skyrim have any toilet? Or all the people never take a bath? Even the king?

Not entirely related, but it'd be funny if the "dirt" settings were dynamic. It'd give you an excuse to use homes or inns or something for cleaning up. Or... if you didn't want to or need to (like werewolves), you'd just get dirtier to the pointing of looking like some wild savage.

New war paint too. Think that stuff would fade after months trkking the wilds of skyrim.

It's entirely puzzling that there isn't at least one barber.

I feel they did this well in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. In your house you have a mirror where you can change your hair and stuff. I think it could work well in Skyrim making it easy to justify canging dirt and warpaint as well.

There's that.... not to mention that there isn't a dedicated bookstore in any of the "major" cities either.

Yea, it kinda svcks that I picked dirty character cuz I thought it went with the just captured theme of the wagon ride only to find out I was gonna be a dirty bugger for the entire game.

Hopefully Bethesda picks up on this and add it through a DLC or the next TES.

Change your hair:

Press ~ (tilde) to bring down the console.
Type "showracemenu"

Go to the hair section and change it, and press R when done.

Ah yes, I use this command more often then any other. Its nice to be able to change everything around, ever once in a while.

I actually assumed you could, so I went for a barbarianish look at the beginning, thinking I would be able to shave and get a haircut later.

Yeah, that didn't go so well. :P

They had barbers in FO3, but not a single one in Skyrim... why??? maybe they thought about it but didn't had enough time to implement it till 11.11.11

I doubt it's anything to do with rushed delivery. It looks to me like these cities were designed to be fairly occupied already, at their size. Most of the space in Whiterun is taken up. Which tells me it's all an early design decision, in the conceptual phase. They streamlined things on purpose. Everything is meant to push you outside, to be in dungeons or exploring. The only stores are shops and crafting stations. Which, in themselves, only offer services to make you go back outside.

As to bookstores, I would assume they do a better trade in Cyrodiil than Skyrim, but one in Solitude wouldn't have hurt.
