Wisp of Diablo music in Skyrim

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 12:22 am

Every time that one piece of background music starts playing in Skryim, the quiet, subdued piece with a couple of soft, poignant strains of guitar (sitar?) plucking in it... those guitar chords isntantly transport me to my long-ago adventures in Diablo 1, where those same guitar chords made up a big segment of the background music in that game, when you were dungeon crawling. Damn, now I really can't wait for D3.... 5/15... 5/15.... 5/15....

Never noticed it. Skyrim's music is the complete opposite of Diablo. Skyrim, FUSDORUHDIJSGJDGLS music. Diablo actually had music fit for a game....

Here is a tube of the D1 music I was talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvvXsreyo30

The first couple of guitar chords are definitely replicated in one of the background pieces, in Skyrim. Not as loud, but they are definitely there. Really whapped me with a case of deja vu, when I first heard it ingame.
