Does anyone know if finishing this quest has any negative affects?

She keeps telling me that when I die, she will wake me to serve her. Does this mean that she owns my eternal soul or something?

I've been avoiding these kind of quests in an attempt to keep my character kind of good, and this quest just feels like it's going straight to hell.

<.< She's a mortal person, if I'm not mistaken, brought back to life by other necromancers. If you kill her, how can she kill you and raise you from the dead?

To my knowledge, this quest is 100% good, since you're protecting the world from her wrath.

There are no negative sides to this quest, and it does make access to the other quests inside the Blue Palace easier.

Its not a "she owns your soul" type of situation, no.

But since she's a necromancer (and apparently powerful enough to raise dead anywhere in the dungeon (possibly even beyond) if you were to die within the dungeon she could resurrect your dead body. That line is basically saying "You're going to die in here (whether by her own hand or her undead minions) and then I'm going to resurrect you and make you part of my army".

It won't matter once you finish the dungeon, though.

But think! We could resurrect the Septim dynasty!
