Honestly, what can I say? A lot of people are very dissapointed. I didn't come here to troll, cause problems or do anything that would have the Moderators closing this thread. A lot of people spent $60.00 for this game and we have experienced a huge array of bugs ranging from spinning heads to broken quests. I'm sorry and I know a lot of people aren't going to like me when I say this but it's time to move on. I never thought for one minute that Bethesda/Obsidian would NOT fix and correct the problems found in this game. There is just no way I see that happening. They made their mistakes and now they are working hard to fix and repair them. I pre-ordered this game and fell in love with it. The glitches and the bugs HAVE made it unplayable for me and, to be honest with you, I am going to wait patiently for them to release the patch. I've come to my senses, figured out I love the Fallout universe and I am going to deal with it just like everyone else. Fallout 3 has been one of the best experiences of my life. To me it is one of the greatest things ever made since the automobile (soley MY opinion). I loved the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion as well. In the meantime ladies and gents, I am going to be playing and doing other things. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a fantastic title. It's free roam and it is keeping me occupied while I patiently wait for the patch to arrive on the XBOX. Bethesda, you gave me an experience I'll never forget with Fallout 3. Granted I never really experienced all the bugs and glitches found within Fallout 3 but I bought the game 2 months after it was released. Surely most of the main glitches and bugs had been fixed by then. I bought all 5 of the DLC's and played through every one of them. It was and still is such a great experience for me to play through something like it. As for Fallout New Vegas, I understand that Bethesda and/or Obsidian is taking the necessary precautions to make sure the patch is well created to patch the fixes found throughout the game. I am going to continue to wait for as long as it takes them to release this patch. Many people are frusturated, as with me, with buying the title and having all the problems that the majority of us have encountered. Bethesda gave up on Fallout 3? Honestly? They did? Well that's news for me because I DID encounter a few problems with Fallout 3 but it wasn't enough to break my spirit with the game. Bethesda will NOT abandon the game and not fix it if the people on these forums still to this day believe that to be true. It just wont happen. I paid $60.00 for this title and I'm not going to get rid of it. Why would I? I know they are going to fix it and I know they don't have all the time in the world to respond to threads like this one which has been written by me. Bottom line, it's going to be fixed. It could be worse too ladies and gents. A LOT worse. They couldn't be fixing this game at all. Can you imagine how MORE frusturated you would be if that was the case? I say relax guys and girls, enjoy life and let them fix the problems, release the patch and we will get back to the Mojave Wasteland in no time. Take this thread in stride. Nah I'm still pissed off. Doesn't matter if they fixed it why was it released in the state it was in? Either they didn't test it or they released it knowing it had bugs either way that's a no no.

I appreciate what you are saying.
Clearly there is a great game in there somewhere.
I don't think many people would argue with that point.
But there are many people who are getting sick of software companies seemingly ripping off customers with buggy, unfinished software and it really is getting out of hand.
They seem to hide behind their anti-piracy and copyright laws which appears to allow them a certain amount of protection from the usual consumer laws that most other products have to adhere to.
Why, you may ask.
Because they are one industry that i know of that can release a product that is not complete, sell it to the publc and finish it at a later date of their choosing (or maybe not finishing it at all).All without any recompence to the consumer or investigation by the consumer rights ombudsmen.
So why should we put up with it without telling them what we think?

You know what, i could have took it if this game was just plain crap (well made crap, i might add). But the fact its actually a great game which has been made crap by incompetence is what really pisses me off.

they sent it to the gamers because we demand new games so much so they push out games for those of us. On top of that the Special eddition game I paid like 100+ the Collectors guide I spent $150 for a new game! I love FNV sure its buggy and whatever those who have never had a Bethesda game like Elderscrolls should know there is gonna be issues. Is this worse then Fallout 3 yes are they moving slow? sure but I would rather wait and get a patch that works then get a halfass patch that when the DLC on the 21st rolls out causes more issues. if you can't hold out for a few weeks for all the corrections and save issues then do like the rest of us play something else, returning the game to me is not a option. F3 had 5 DLC I hope FNV has at lest that. I also hope the new DLC will be a little less in price say 600 MS Points then 800. Id be fine with that. Id pay full price too. Bethesda has the best openworld games for us xbox 360 and PS3 Gamers. Though PC does get the better MMO since Xbox wont work a deal on such things.

There's already other open threads that are dealing with the patch/ the level of bugginess in the game/ customer reaction to these problems. OP means well, but we still don't want to have too many duplicate threads floating around these forums.
